Blizzard and Netease just extended their partnership for another 4 years...

... and we all should be very much looking forward to it.

Maybe there will be more glorious moments like the epic Diablo Immortal announcement during Blizzcon. I don't remember having as much fun in the last years as I saw the fallout afterwards.

Maybe they'll let Netease develop the upcoming WoW expansion to make it great again.

How else will they make WoW go mobile?

It's the way all Blizz games are going these days. Only a matter of time now.

Netease facilitates Blizzard access to the Chinese market so this is not really surprising. Say all you want about mobile. Netease is how all of their IP's are in China at all. Bungie partners with them as well. If you're an American game studio and want access to any of the Chinese market Netease is probably how you do it.

    Exactly.

Neatease is one of the largest Internet companies in the world. It's literally a 10 billion dollar business ($33 bn to be exact). They have their fingers in pretty much every jar.
Having their name pop up as partners to various gaming companies is therefore not a huge conspiracy (not the kind people here seem to think about anyway)l

    Settle down folks.
