...mounts cost 2000 gems, or 25 dollars.
If you are particularly bold, you could use a Shiny Ditto. Do keep in mind though, this will infuriate your opponents due to Ditto's beauty. Please do not use Shiny Ditto. You have been warned.

Do you have to factor in the costs of glider skins for comparison?
The answer is simple really, they charge what they charge, because people pay it.
Also, mounts are 400 (random) 1200 (pick) 2000 (special) or 2000 for a holiday pack, so not sure how that factors."I only feel two things Gary, nothing, and nothingness."

They sell skins in lieu of a sub, so expect stuff to be $10-$20, especially when people can convert gold to gems.
