I'm happy with the Raiders picks tonight. Far happier than I was after night one last year.

Raiders resisted the QB when I fully expected a trade up for one. Admittedly still think they're looking at Tua same as the Dolphins.

So much for Drew Lock being a top 10 pick. Didn't even go 1st round even with teams trading back into it.

Bad thing about that is Elway has 2 chances to be dumb in the 2nd round.

I feel good going into tomorrow for the Packers. Radio just rattled off a long list of bottom 1st/top 2nd pass catchers that are still on the board. Almost certain someone falls to the Packers, or maybe they execute another trade up.

I haven't posted out here in sports in a very long time, and I had to come back just to lament that draft from the Giants. Way to take the 6th best QB in the draft with your first pick. That dude is for sure there in round 2. Hell, he might have been there in round 3. Giants have needed a LB for years and Josh Allen is gift wrapped for them. Even Oliver is sitting there if they wanted to go D-line. That pick frees them up to go offense at 17 and take someone like Marquise Brown or shore up the offensive line. This is going to be a bad team for years to come and it's going to waste Barkley completely.

My Colts traded out of round 1. I'm expecting more movement from them before the weekend is over.
I love the Eagles sneaking ahead of the Texans to steal their guy! Texans probably should have traded down after that.

Worse, they're going to be somewhat competent, keeping them edging around that 5-10 pick where you can't really get the hot shots in the draft, but aren't good enough to really feel hope either. True purgatory.

AFC East could be Rosen, Allen and Darnold, pretty good potential for the future. Oh, and some old fart named Brady.

Also that takes them out of the Tua Bowl. If they're picking first overall next year then Rosen is actually a bust player.

That'll be a fun race of mediocrity to watch. I think the Bengals could be a dark horse.
