Heard something about last week on the radio when the DJs were talking about the AAF. Other than that I had never heard of it. How many teams? Is it televised? I know next to nothing about rugby.

It's no accident that rugby hasn't caught on in the U.S. yet: it's too similar to American football, and the United States is absolutely obsessed with American football. American football already occupies the "try to get the ball over the line without getting tackled" spot in American sports and, given how obsessed Americans are with American football, I don't think there's room for another sport in that spot.Do you think this league could make rugby more popular in the US?
