I was thinking Gen 8 will be my gen to switch from the grass starter, but damn that monkey is adorb. Ill have to see what the evos look like and stating, it will be between leaf monkey or water tadpole for sure.

Welp, I guess I will finally have to buy a Switch.


I actually like all three of the starters but based just on their starting forms, the water chameleon is the front runner for me.

Not a fan of any of the starters, i can already tell the football player rabbit will no doubt be the furbait of gen 8, but i like the region. Granted it needs a lot more trash, stabbing attacks and drugg out zombies shuffling the streets on black mamba to look like the real england but i loved kalos and get the same vibe here.

Also nice to return to gyms and the league. The kahuna trial stuff was nice in theory but boy was it brainless in execution.

I just hope that Sword&Shield are going with the regular catching mechanic, not the one used in Let's Go.

And that's the only reason I can think of for not going on sale. They are very confident "that one game" will come out and get people to pay full price. Odyssey did it for me.

Speaking of which. We've all just silently accepted they want 60 because it's on switch, right?
