Not subscribed, but wtf why is Jaina a raid boss?

Not a subscriber since launch BFA and won't resub. Just curious why Jaina is a raidboss and if she dies in that raid?
If the answer is yes, she will die. Then how did she suddenly become a raid boss and had to die?

BFA has alot of flawss with content, but i am really curious on what is going on with Jaina.
I assume Blizzard didn't go even further retard and it's just some sorta fase?

Actually. I played begin of BFA and jaina would be the last person to become a raid boss. so yes this is a sudden change that i want explained.

Jaina is a end boss because she assaulted the Zandalari city in the BOD raid and she escapes at 5% life. She doesnt die, there ya go.

The raid isn't a typical raid story. It's Horde vs Alliance, but you play both sides. You play as Alliance for one part, and you play as Horde for another part. The last fight is basically Jaina the Alliance Hero versus the Horde, and the players take the part of the Horde. Jaina is pretty much normal, not corrupted or anything.

This is all i wanted to know. I still have hope in Blizzard story writing and making Jaina a boss, felt so off. Glad to know she isn't dying.
wouldn't made any sense in my eyes. Atleast not if the alliance had to fight her too.

Sadly she survives. But only the Horde canonically fight her.

Mekkatorque is another boss in that raid who survives. Alliance 'heroes' aren't allowed to die apparently.
