$1500 PC budget

Hey guys, I know this type of thread is old and maybe boring for some.
But I'm looking for a good rig to build from the ground up for $1500 or less.
Only caveat is I'd prefer an Nvidia gpu and 1tb SSD. Will being gaming at 1440p

Open to suggestions for everything else.

Ryzen instead of Intel since at 1440p CPU doesn't matter as much
Went to a SATA SSD instead of NVMe because it really doesn't matter for gaming. At all. It only affects performance if you're moving large files often (with 10gb or more links), or opening files that are above 600MB/s
Case is whatever, just pick something you think looks nice
PSU is overkill, could easily step down to 650W

* Your PSU is overkill; could drop it to a 550/650. Gold vs Platinum you're looking at 2%-ish watt savings over lifetime. Will depend on how long you're planning to use the build before upgrading but plat might be worth it.
* I'd recommend doubling up on memory to 32GB. 2400mhz is fine for gaming, higher is important only for other uses (work, video editing etc). Difference between 2400mhz and 3200 might be 2-4 fps. But running out of memory will cause page-filing and disk writes resulting in significant drops.
* GPU is your biggest improvement here. You want to buy the absolute most you can and stay under cost. This might mean an nvidia 2080 or 2070, or dropping a bit to something like a 1660ti, or amd's rx580/rx590.

If volume is an issue, consider after-market fans as most fans that come with cases are either loud or terrible (as quiet and powerful are expensive, figure $15-$30 per).

Depends how quiet you want it. If you want silence, either go overkill or passive, both are expensive

It's quite easy to get to a 2080 at that budget.. If someone sells you a system for 1500 USD and it has a 580/equivalent, they're ripping you off

Agreed. Noctua NF-F12s, NF-A12s, NF-F14s and be quiet! Silent Wings 3 are all very good fans that are super quiet under full load.
Corsair ML series are also decent, but I really don't like how the casing looks

A good case like the nzxt h500. Add a note range card like the 2070. Could wait a few months and get a QVO from Samsung, which should be about half the price
