It's as if Blizzard have different people developing different aspects of game!

That's because originally most of monk attacks used to sheath the weapons and hit with bare hands. It was in Legion with Artifacts that they changed them to use weapons.
Point is, as soon as dragons are involved, realism goes completely out the window anyway. And it's not people with silly mogs are the majority now when you can easily dress as a farmer, dandy or lumberjack. People will try things out initially, those who like underdressed looks (and are already playing humans/elves in slutmogs anyway) will enjoy it and the rest of us will move on, or rejoice at the opportunity to hide some select pieces (such as a Monk going bare fisted or a Garrosh lookalike perpetually eschewing shirts).
We need to be able to hide the pants more than the chest. The pants hang out of several MOGs like [Robes of the Guardian Saint] and look tacky.

I'd like the ability to hide an individual shoulder (and glove) piece. It also be cool if we could switch the sides that the shoulder pads are on. Left one to right, right one to left.
With all of the crap that is wrong with this game, this is what they choose to work on?? smh
I would rather have hide pants and nothing else than hide everything else but not pants.
Who the hell wears pants in 2019?!
WTF Blizz? No hiding pants? That's literally the epitome of "anti-fun".
well after like 14 years i can finally make a dwarf slayer!
Blizzard: - "Ok, you can now hide all slots, but pants is where we draw the line!"
Players: - "Yay! Finally! Transmog ideas flowing!!... But y not pants tho? Pants restrict my creative... expression? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)"
Yay for being able to hide gloves and bracers though, I was expecting that to become reality in 10.0...
To bad no pants, Still can't use Vestments of the Shifting Sands as a transmog it seems
