Just saw this, ridiculous.
Charges expunged and case sealed.
All 16 counts....
I expect this judge to catch a shitstorm.
And he's sticking to the story he was attacked....

8:35 AM PT -- State's Attorney Kim Fox's office says, "After reviewing all of the facts and circumstances of the case, including Mr. Smollett's volunteer service in the community and agreement to forfeit his bond to the City of Chicago, we believe this outcome is a just disposition and appropriate resolution to this case."

The statement is consistent with what our sources said about Jussie only getting community service if convicted.

Slap on the wrist. Basically forking over money but then again i get it. I doubt he would have gotten anything more significant than probation or community service so they likely felt this was better than all the money and energy wasted pursuing. I do think 16 counts was much, it was realistically just one false report made.
