Idea: Require soloqueue pug heroic 5mans ELSE they lose all M+ & raid drops / raids

M+ is cancerous and disgusting. It encourages people to not help new players and instead form exclusive raider.io / community / friends lists. The game needs a fix. Get people OUT of their exclusive communities and helping others. Helping others is KEY to a thriving MMO. So we can START with this.

Run M+ and raids all you want. HOWEVER, in order for your toon to qualify for m+ / raid drops for the week:

1. they MUST soloqueue and complete something like 5x pug heroic dungeons in dungeon finder during the previous week.
2. if the ilvl of the group exceeds a maximum, that pug heroic does not count towards the 5.
3. Cheaters are told in advance that if caught, their cap goes to 10 for the rest of the expansion. Don't even THINK about creative use of game mechanics to get around this. If you think you're gonna do it at the end of the xpac, it'll extend to the next one too.

I think this would be a START to see if we can get people to help others more. If it fails, more extreme measures will be taken.

Pretty simple. Help people. Contribute to the community. Or no gear.

I dont want to have to play with filthy pugs if I can avoid it. I dont want to help unstuffed SuperJhonny alt number 66. I dont have super high raider io because I only chained the dungeons I needed but I play with friends/guildies for mm+. That's how you play a mmo, with friends and/or guild mates. My friends/guildmates don't give a F about MY raider io

Yesterday I PL'ed some friend's fresh dinged 120 (not even 375 ilvl) in KR+10 with other people we know... and we timed it... I just help people I know because I know they'll help me back if I need it.

Heroics are useless... I've only chained a few heroic on release to get a weapon... and that's all

So you are ons of those who belives that ppl who work far harder then other should be forced to carry lowbies, alts etc? Aloso communites are forged by same minded ppl and you want to force split them for lazy ppl. Thats sounds liek amazing idea to loose even more subs, it kinda sounds like blizz idea they should hire you.

Coming from FFXIV and being forced to play with sub par players is awful. The freedom WoW brings for endgame play such as M+ is astoundingly good. If someone isn't pulling their weight, replace and move on no questions asked. Therefore I completely disagree with OP on this matter.

Another player who is unwilling to build their own social network like everyone else did over tiers and expansions, acquiring new friends and people who are at the same skill level and working up the ladder as we all did from new > average > good > great. i was the kid who got sassed at back in BC for not knowing what dungeon mechanics were or unlocking different content. now a days you have the luxury of cross realm networking and bnet. Do +5s make friends. do +10s make more friends. do +15s make more friends. Run your own key. make your own groups. control the outcome and stop complaining.

I think past experiemts with forcing players into easier/harder content have shown that they dont suddendly see the error of their ways and start having fun right.

Socialism in wow, exactly what the game needs. People shouldn't be allowed to play this game with the people they want, instead they should be forced to carry and teach others for no gain other to be allowed to spend some time with the people they actually like. Low itemlevel players can play together instead. They should help each other to gear up. Why would people that have already done all the hard work put in extra effort to boost? That doesn't make any sense. Low geared and low scored players don't give me any proof they know how to complete my +19 key. No, they should time all their dungeons in +10 time first and then slowly advance into higher keys. That is how raider.io is supposed to work. It is a good system. Don't try to abuse the system please.

You expect people that do m+ successfully to pick up others that barely put effort into it or are just on a low skill level to boost people. Who in their right mind would agree with that, especially when they get forced to do so.

Before BoD came out I had to go from zero to hero in m+ solo queueing when I dinged my paladin tank.

You wanna know my secret? I worked at it. I watched youtube videos on every pull for King's Rest, and I spammed the heck out of it until I knew every pull. I then repeated that for other dungeons. Starting with low keys, I gained IO score until I got more and more invites. It was gruelling, but with some elbow grease it's very doable.

If you want the challenge of high keys and the good gear that can come from it, try working for it. Don't expect to just be able to queue for it and let the in-game systems play the game for you.

So if im understanding this correctly. If you happen to get into a group that is completing their 5 dungeons of the week but all 5 of them exceed the ilvl granted by said dungeon, it won't count towards the 5 cap?
