I attribute it more to the quest not finishing if you accept the gift, and how awful the crown looks. It should have been just the eye floating above you or something like that.

This is the main reason, also people only did the war campaign to unlock the zandalaris, probably most people are trying to get their Aotc in Jaina and gearing up alts for the next patch at this point.
