"Mythic Crucible of Storms will be just as hard as Jaina"

Crucible of Storms should feel like a continuation of the Battle of Dazar'alor tier, with Uu'nat comparable to Jaina in difficulty. If that's the case, we may see this Mythic raid race last a few days, as Mythic Jaina progression took a week!

How do majority of cutting edge guilds feel about spending another many weeks on another raid ? If your guild is 8/9 on Jaina and hasn't killed it yet, how will you feel about having another boss to progress on directly after killing Jaina that will likely eat up just as much time. And in conclusion how do you this raid will do in the world race, another week 1 clear ?

My guild may or may not do a H run, we're currently working on M rasta -

There is no reason to go and try to do the new raid for us at all.

Loot is mostly garbage, esp on H difficulty, and we won't be able to do M.

    tbh it feels pretty shitty.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Are you suggesting you want end tier Mythic bosses to be a push over?

The hardest part about Jaina is her RNG. The randomness of Icefalls really fucks an entire last phase, same for P2 to an extent, I hope that it's not "hard" with RNG and actually just "hard".

It's a reason why I'm not a fan of releasing CoS after BoD. Helya was tough back in Trial of Valor but she came after a stupid easy raid and it was a handful of months before we entered Nighthold, a 10 boss raid.

Now we're in a fairly easy 8 boss one with a difficult endboss. A lot of guilds are progressing on Jaina still (including yours truly's) and in the midst of that, or shortly after the kill, Blizzard tells us that we'll now have to learn a Mekkatorque-equivalent boss, and then another Jaina right after? This will be burnout city, population us. We'll probably clear Crucible on Heroic then ignore it until Jaina's dead, unless the loot is really great.

U'unat is not the end tier boss. Jaina is. The whole idea of crucible is to push the story forward to tie it into the azshara plot. Most hardcore players are enjoying after finishing a tier and preparing for another, some are doing MDI, some are just 'on break'. I guess most of us expected a Halion-like raid that would serve as an addition, not too hard addition to add a layer of the story to the game.

Then they don't have to clear mythic?

Uunat is a mini-tier, it should not be as hard as jaina, esp if you want non-top end guilds to clear it. A lot of people will be in the situation we're halfway through BoD, and H is useless but M is too hard, so we don't do a brand new raid because of it, it should have its on tier of ilvl, not just a few ilvl higher.

ToV was significantly harder than Xavius (Helya was leagues harder than Cenarius, for a more fair difficulty comparison). What use is there in complaining that Mythic bosses are actually a challenge? If you, or other mythic raiders don't want to do them, then don't?

For some people playing mythic is the only way they have fun in the game. If let's say 5 people decide to go on a break, the guild is short on people to progress. Mythic raiding requires a dedication to the group, not to a unit. If there is a raid, mythic raiders will want to raid it. But still, most of the mythic players would prefer:
    a) For Crucible of Storms not to exist, at least as a raid. Which is not happening
    b) For Crucible of Storms to be easier than Jaina. To serve as an intermission raid, not a continuation in regards to difficulty
As people previously said, Trial of Valor with hard end boss - Helya came after a pushover raid and before a full fledged, 10 boss tier. CoS comes after a full fledged tier, which many of mythic guilds are still progressing, and the information that U'unat is supposed to be on the same level as Jaina must be really frustrating, the idea of having 2 end bosses to progress instead of one.

    Uu'nat kinda is.

CoS has bosses 10 and 11 of season 2.

Much like how ToV had bosses 8, 9 and 10 for the EN/TOV/NH tier during Legion.

By definition, the end of tier boss is the final boss of that tier (or season). Which Uu'nat is.

You're just saying Blizzard should selectively reduce difficulty of bosses so more people can clear it though. If people don't stick around for further challenges, that's on them, not Blizzard. It's been know from BEFORE BoD that CoS was coming, and the only comparable raid in recent time was ToV which was harder than EN, why should anyone expect it to be easier than Jaina?

So playing mythic is the only way they have fun in the game, but they do not want more mythic bosses.

The number of Jaina kills is still tiny. Like ~300.

And the recent nerfs did very little to ease the encounter.

If nothing is done to greatly ease Jaina you're going to see an incredibly tiny number of people get CE in Crucible.

I don't have a problem with more mythic bosses, but it does kind of suck to not have enough time to progress them. Because you know as soon as Azshara raid releases in July/August the old raids are completely obsoleted.

Some of us raid M and after only halfway through BoD, meaning the new tier is too hard on M and pointless on H.

An entire raid we won't touch seems like a failure on blizzards end.

Just cause you can't do it, doesn't mean no one can. Okay? It's like a 5/9 guild saying blizzard failed i didnt clear the contet in time, why even implement 9 bosses if i cant kill them.

Mythic Raid difficulty is very overtuned this tier especially last few bosses. Blizzard should roll out huge across the board nerfs to fix this crap.

What? Jaina is the only difficult boss in the whole raid. Mythrax was harder than Mekka/Blockade... This is literally the easiest tier outside of Jaina in recent memory.

I'm glad it will be just as hard as Jaina. She wasn't significantly harder than Argus/Guldan, and was easier than KJ/Helya. If you take out the shitty Icefall RNG then it would have been a really good fight.

It's pretty similar difficulty to Antorus.

The first nine in Antorus fell over the same way.

Jaina is ridiculously harder than the rest of the raid though, to a silly extent.

Unless Jaina gets nerfed since we have maybe 3 months left in the raid tier almost no one is going to see mythic Uu'nat.
