If that isn't terrorism or vandalism theres a maintenance guy that is going to be fired before the fires go out.

The people doing renovation and preservation better hope it was terrorism because if it was a builder fuck up, that company will soon be annihilated from existence.

Buildings of that size are always worked on, every day of the year.

also, burning of a church that's not accidental need not be terrorism. Mine was burned and the educational center was heavily damaged. It just ended up being a crazy homeless white dude.

Uh... no? I mean if you mean general maintenance, sure. If you mean scaffolding, as-in actual renovations, no.

It's fucked up, there's no way they can stop that fire

This is truly heart-breaking to see. All those hundreds of years of history gone. I am so sad I only ever got the chance to see it briefly from the river.

And they won't. There was never a possibility of them saving it.

The Dom in Cologne has not been without scaffolding for over a hundred years.

Terrible to see. Notre Dame is... was a site of history, being pretty much being the heart of the Paris since the early middle ages - and now it's burning to the ground.
While I'm sure it can be rebuilt, there won't be much left to rebuild on.

Really makes me sick that such a tragedy is used immediately by some morons to spread their hate.
Lets just hope no one got hurt and some of it is still standing after this. It will be a shame if notre dame will be reduced to rubble.

Yep. The building lasted for centuries, including two world wars, only to be destroyed in a fire likely caused by some moron failing to adhere to safety standards.

There was value in the cathedral, both in architecture and history and to lose that sucks.

You are dimly aware that there is a bit of difference in criminal capacities between ''throwing rocks'' and ''arson'' ?

But it's useless. Agitprop handlers snapped their fingers and give your the order to believe it's DUH MUZLAMS. Therefore, there is no amount of proof or investigation that will convince your kind otherwise. They could publish a 10 000 pages long investigation on a poorly turned-off soldering tool and your kind would believe a random alt-right loon.
