So is associating with Russia bad or not? Because I know of of another candidate who has done a lot of that. Can you believe it happened in this decade too?

Always go Russia, the tesla coils stacked behind a brick wall are the best defense. Even on custom made gem maps.

Must be so awkward for the right that Trump picked today to tell the world how wonderful it is to lick Putin's boots.

I really don't see any problem with his statements. Housing and healthcare costs have and continue to be problems in the US and US imperialism is bad.

Honestly, all this shows is that Sanders is consistent on his policies since he still talks about housing and healthcare costs and is still against US imperialism.

It’s not new... Trump and fox were talking about it in 2016, when Bernie was surging. They were preparing this in 2016, to replace “lock her up” if Bernie won the primary.

It doesn't talk bad about Trump or conservatives.

Wait wait wait. Republicans are crying about Bernie being in Russia? WTF. Make a choice Russia good or bad. christ. If bad tell your dear leader what's up or at least try and get Fox News or maybe a pop up picture book with no words to get it across to him.

The same point of every Hubcap thread. To stir shit up. Hubby's the same guy who started the "bernie is rich and won't apologize" thread too.

Also, @freefolk: Old news is so exciting! We learned about this during the primaries in 2016. Burlington had a sister city in Russia at the time.

That is a really nice train station. Dear god, I must be an evil communist! /s

I can tell as of late people are trying really hard to paint Bernie as a bad person, but the fact that these threads are the best you can come up with and they can't top Trump's antics on an average Tuesday should say something.

This isn't really anything in my opinion. It's not like anyone doesn't know that sanders believes in socialism and shit like that. The problem is that people are uneducated and think socialism works, not that they aren't informed on Sanders' beliefs.

Which one of Sanders' policies is socialist again?

The type of "socialism" Sanders believes in isn't the same type that Bolshevik or Stalinist Russia believed in.

It's a type of "socialism" (in quotes because it's not even really socialism) that has worked quite well for, oh I don't know, most of the first world? Decent minimum wages, universal healthcare, higher taxes on the rich? Those are just policies that work and have been proven to work.

That's it folks. A Republican didn't like what Bernie Sanders had to say. Wrap it up. We're done here. He's out.
Do you have any problems with what he said?

You mean besides the cognitive dissonance of being disgusted by Bernie Sanders for something decades old while ignoring Trump praising Putin and licking his boots just yesterday in 2019?

Next thing you know we'll get Trump supporters claiming some dem candidates aren't fit for office because they're over seventy.

He does so because on the American scale (which ranges from right leaning to really REALLY right leaning) he IS left in comparison. Also... doesn't he call himself a social-capitalist, or am I remembering wrong?

Of what OP said? Yes, this is so unimportant that we've all wasted time posting in this useless thread.

To be fair past 70 does seem to be pushing it. The amount of crazy that comes from representatives at that age is abnormally high.
