Well the byproduct of stuff like this makes having a miscarriage potentially a felony for something you physically have no control over. You would have to prove you had a natural miscarriage and did not engage in some activity that may have caused it. Trying to prove negatives being hard to do this is very very likely to cause major issues as it did in the past.

The Alabama Senate delayed until next week a vote on a bill to ban abortion after an uproar over a key amendment.

The Senate abruptly removed a rape and incest exception from the bill without allowing a roll call vote on that decision.
