Nazjatar Gear - A casual player dream?

The hardest content i do right now is LFR or Mythic 0 dungeons...and to be quite honest there is nothing else to do as a casual player.

    Now comes Nazjatar.
And you are telling me...i will now be able to be ilvl 430...without RNG...farming world content...everyday...for weeks?
And then i need to go to Mechagon to farm weapons, rings and trinkets?
And then i need to farm world content to unlock the neckpiece talents?

Man...seems like an adventure to me specially with warmode on.

Am i missing something important? Or is it really true that a casual player will have all this things to do?
    Seems dreamy.

    Additional Information:

    1) Some quick Math IF you are able to get 10 Pearls per day (not sure how many pearls you can get per day/week)

    9x5=45
    9x20=180
    9x60=540

total: 765 pearls to be full 430 ilvl

10 per day = 76 days to be full 430 ilvl gear
    2) The pearl items are bind on account on PTR, meaning you can farm them on several alts and funnel them to your main character

EDIT: Benthic gear is now item level 425 FML
Opinion: Blizzard better make this farm fast as F and to not take 2 entire months to get all pieces then. Since the item level is nerfed.

    This feels like bait.

I could give a shit what number is next to my gear, but I haven't bothered with raiding or guilds since WotLK, so I'm cautiously optimistic about a decent amount of personal open world content progression.
Xal'atath whispers: Your allies consider me a bad influence. Yet all I've ever done is speed you along the path you chose.

I seriously doubt this gear will be obtainable in anything that resembles a quick fashion given the sheer grind of this entire expansion and sadistic amounts of RNG so far. ilvl for 8.2 caps at 445 I think so this would be heroic raid equivalent.

Why does it sound like bait?
I just need item level for PvP and Duels
Right now, all i do is LFR...there is literally nothing else i do.
Nazjatar seems like content for weeks of farming non stop.

That should keep me busy and in the end i will be "stronger" in my own little world of duels in front of Stormwind

Yeah, if you like farming. I like farming just fine. I'm not in any hurry. As little as I play it will probably take months. And that's fine for me. Others will hate it but there really is a case to be made for long farms rewarding good gear. But they have to be long. I'm as much against just giving it away quickly as anyone. Difficult content rewards X in less time; easier content rewards X in much more time is OK.

Not really different from Relinquished Gear from Argus or Broken Shore.

Or whatever was on the Timeless Isle or Tanaan Jungle.

According to @Puremallace the item level cap of 8.2 is 445.
    And Nazjatar gear is 430!!!!!
I will finally not be at a big disadvantage in PvP!

Nothing more ? why stop at Mythic 0 ? if you can´t go higher then 0 its not becouse your casual.

Casual is more about the amount you play and not on the difficulty you play.

What if I told you casuals do M0 for a weekly cache when the quest comes around? Don't need to go higher as a casual, saves stress, time and hassle of getting a key group

Also difficulty is directly proportionate to time spent.

    My situation:
-LFR gear ilvl gets you declined to every group.
-I would need to level up my key on my own to at least +6, +7
-My groups disband constantly and we fail keys a lot
-I cant be bothered with frustrating stuff like this like failed groups on my keys.

I choose to not do more than this.

people dont getting what casual means is getting real frustrating

What would you call me then?

There are, absolutely, several types of casuals.
    Im one type of it.
There are several many more. "Skilled casual" is one of them. Specially with interaction with a Guild or Community.

Just because you can get 430 gear, doesn't mean you will magically get to 430 overall ilvl overnight. It'll take a lot of time. Enough time for the mythic raid to unlock, which means the ilvl cap will be increased again and you'll be in exactly the same spot you are in now - getting to 400 ilvl as a casual PUG player is trivial right now, it takes like 3-4 weeks max (likely less, depending on how emissaries/warfronts/world events happen to fall into it). That's also 15 ilvl below current mythic raid gear (i.e. without WF/TF which will be added on top of everything in 8.2 as well once the mythic raid unlocks).

It doesn't really change a whole lot. It's probably slightly faster to gear up, but as averages increase so will peoples' expectations. 430 sounds a lot now, just like 390 sounded like a lot during Uldir - but if you're 390 now, you'll get declined for +10 keys instantly, not even close. That's how it goes.

Gear doesn't really matter in pvp. So why do you need gear for if you just do LFR and Mythic0?

Maybe you confusing casual with being bad?

Somebody being casual, including the context of videogames, means they are not as dedicated and not spending much time with something, mostly a hobby. They engage with it "casually", hence the word. They dont care about it. Easy to look up

Someone grinding double digit hours for tokens for the equivalent of gear that you get in a couple of lockouts in the miniscule of that time for puggable content (heroic or m+, which doesnt even have lockouts) is the opposite of casual friendly. Its bad friendly, in cost of more time, which most casual player claim to have none of it

People should stop using casual as a smokescreen for being bad. Im pretty sure most of method raiders play this game on average more casually then people that claim being casuals and having 30 alts and grinding every day or something like that

There is no several type of casuals, stop inventing own definition. The words you looking is for are bad players

    Let's buy all the items. cloak + bracers + gloves + belt + pants + boots. 5 pearls a pop. 5+5+5+5+5+5=30 pearls and you're 385.

    Now let's upgrade all the items to 400. 20 pearls a pop. 20+20+20+20+20+20=120 pearls and you're 400

Now let's upgrade all the items to 430. 10 pearls per 5 items levels, so 60 pearls. 60+60+60+60+60+60=360 pearls and you're 430.

So how much did we waste to get to 430 in almost every slot? No "nazjatar weapons" and ignoring azerite armor slots: you've used up to 30+120+360=510

510 pearls. How many pearls can you get per day again?
I did a Necromancer thing. Check it out! All feedback welcome!
Update 08/17: I changed how the Bone spec's golem mechanic works, as well as some other minor changes.
I also did a Bard thing! Questions, comments and ideas, all welcome!
Update 09/02: Apparently the mods decided to merge my class concept thread with an existing one.

I guess it's good, but....if you're so casual that the hardest content you do is LFR and M+0.....then what exactly are you going to do with higher level gear? Are you farming gear just for the sake of farming gear? What's the point if you're not going to progress through more difficult content? o_O
    Happiness is peace in motion.

would be good if this gear stays so easily attainable.

i don't care if the gear is green, blue, or epic. but i want to kill things FAST. fuck slow gameplay, fuck slow classes, and fuck killing shit slow.

this gear will help me accomplish that. the game's only fun when i'm going 1k miles an hour.

Can you correct me on this please?

Right now my best items are from LFR. And other people are (on average) walking about with 400-something item level.

    In 8.2 i will be on a "better" situation...right?
Because 430 will be much better than the LFR gear of 8.2.

I will be on a MUCH BETTER situation than now...right?

I can accept it if it is a 2 month farm.
More than that and i will be demotivated to farm all of that.
