    Prediction about Classic

I'm going to make the following predictions about Classic:

    1. Most of the players at launch will quit before level 60. This means that Blizzard will start to merge realms or introduce sharding at some point, which will do the same amount of damage to the game as it did on live - lack of realm communities, etc.

    2. Most of the "quality of life" features of current WoW, and existing addons, will be backported through addons and/or 3rd party services - Achievements, Gearscore (item level), Dungeon Finder, Boss Mods, etc, and will eventually become mandatory for everyone that wants to be competitive.

    3. As a result of point 2, most raids will be puggable within 3 to 6 months of release. Yes, even Naxx. You don't even need an achievements for this - attunements serve the same purpose.

    4. More people will quit at 60, because the game will be nothing as they remembered. Eventually the game will settle down with a small and loyal community, but it will have too few players for Blizzard to do similar experiments in the future (TBC/Wrath).

1.that sentence doesn't make sense.... Launch and level 60 is nowhere close to each other....
2.There is no competitive game in classic....Classic is all about leveling making friends and taking your time to get to level 60 which is the biggest reward. After that raids are already known so there is no competition....
3.There is nothing wrong with pugging raids....Ppl pugged raids 15 years ago and will still be the same...Its just the knowledge now that is bigger and everyone knows what to do in classic raids so the content will be cleared faster.
4.Same thing is happening with retail wow and every other game...Ppl getting to max level, they see they dont like it or its not what they thought it whould be and they quit...
Stop predictions...doesnt add any value to anything...
Wanna see my prediction? Here it goes....
Ppl will be playing classic even after 2-3 years cause thats what they do with pservers anyway and since its in the same sub as retail its a free game. There was a wall of no going around the forums some years ago and the prediction was that we whould never see classic....See how stupid predictions are?

Maybe you are right, maybe not. Time will tell.

What does that even mean? In what way to do you want to be competitive?
Don't you think that most players will just play around with their classes, do PVP, maybe level and equip a new class?

If you've paid attention at all you would know layering is being created so mass amounts of people can be on 1 realm with the expectation that a large amount will fall off and quit. This way you don't need to merge realms, just turn off layering once the population stabilizes.
