Who is George Soros and why do people hate him?

I see a lot of hate on this guy and people saying that he is responsible for a lot funding towards the Democratic party and liberal organizations in The United States. Can someone elaborate on this and if you dislike or hate him, explain why?

He is a wealthy donor that a lot of conspiracy hinges on... Basically, he is the answer to every conspiracy theory, that bothers to ask... ‘but, how would democrats afford such an expensive action?’...

He funds some random things so right wing talking heads latched onto him as the one bank rolling everything in existence on the left. Thus the heard followed and latched onto it and really just hate him cause they were told to. Then they came up with after the fact reasons that he is the worst thing ever to try to rationalize their irrational hatred for the man.

It goes back decades, but mostly grew during the Obama administration.

Hungarian born billionaire who spent part of his childhood in fascist wartime Hungary, who after the war became a hedge fund manager and grew his career from there after emigrating to the west.

Often used as a scapegoat in conspiracy theories etc, because he tends to support generally progressive causes in a monetary fashion.

In the US he is considered left wing. But Europe is so far to the left on some issues that he just seems "right".

His history of currency manipulation and harming other countries for his own gain is not a good look for a man; who increasingly acts and behaves like the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" gained sentience and became a living flesh and blood person, an organic avatar of all of the worst Anti-Semitic conspiracies made flesh. In Europe he is the Neo-Liberal thug manipulating for the EU and Multiculturalism, in the US he is acting for Democrats ect.

Ultimately it is his international scope that gets him a lot of hatred, he spends a lot of money manipulating and politicking in Countries he doesn't live in and trying to change them to fit a worldview he has, and often in a way that isn't immediately transparent.

A cursory glance at his open society foundation I'm not really sure how anyone could see it as scummy. It's like bread and butter charity stuff.

There's reason to not like Soros for how he made a lot of his money. Gates helped found a very profitable software company, Soros manipulated currency markets (legally, but also caused massive issues).

The thinking of white privilege easily doubles over for Jewish people, I mean what other ethnic group is so unbelievably successful and highly represented in Congress, federal government administration and top positions in industry and finance and yes, the media-arts-culture industry? It is, not even a stretch, but indeed the privilege schematic applies more so for other ethnic groups.

That does not make him baba yaga and the when the British pride London as being the financial capital of the world you kind of lose complaining right when one of those Finance guys does something that cost you money.
