20 fps lower than usual today, what can it be?

Sitting in Org atm with 40 fps, had 60 yesterday and for as long as I can remember. Any ideas?

Are you downloading 8.2 in the background?

Probably not the same case but for me some months ago my fps droped for no aparent reason all of a sudden. Turned out I had my resolution upscaled from 1920x1080 to 2880x1880 even though I never changed ANYTHING in my configuration. Turning it back down to 100% fixed it

8.2 is already downloaded etc, nothing resource heavy running in the background. Well even in empty areas I'm sitting at around 45 fps, as in crowded Org. 100% scale reso, fps limit is OFF etc.

People say its impossible, but my experience shows recount was to blame multiple times. Realisitically, you have a second instance of wow open, a second game running (i know you said you dont), or, its an addon.

Dazar gives me 30fps now, as opposed to 60 two days ago. What is this madness.

Seems view distance is the cause, but why have it been so smooth earlier?
