I'm not sure what I think about this.

The 2060 SUPER is an unlocked 2070, the 2070 SUPER is basically an unlocked 2080 vanilla and so on.

As much as the argument for RTX was originally around its "unique" tech, I have to question whether it really was just pure price gouging on their part now.

While these cards will no doubt be impressive, I wonder how they'll be priced and what it means for people who bought the original versions.

So SUPER is basically another name for TI. Except they're still doing TI. And also TI SUPER.

From what I can understand, the 2060 SUPER will be between the 2060 and 2070. The 2070 SUPER will be between 2070 and 2080. They're using the step-up chips, but with some cores disabled. Also 2080ti SUPER just.. Sounds weird.

This naming scheme seems just plain awful. They could've named them 21 or 30 series and nobody would have complained because they aren't plain refreshes.

I don't think it was ever a solid argument and it was pretty clear they were pricing that high because they could. While the chips are somewhat on the larger side, they were made on a refined node and probably quite cheaply.

No thank you, even though I currently own 1070 I'm switching to team Red, I already have Ryzen CPU and my next GPU will be AMD. Nvidia needs competition just so they won't pull shit like this, and I intend to give my support to AMD.

Not if you live in Denmark. NVIDIA Titan RTX cost 3.259$ so the 2080 ti super will be 1200$ cheaper, but still WAY to much money for a fucking GFX card

The 2080 ti will 100% cost 2000$ here in Denmark. The RTX 2080 ti cost from 1500$ to 2000$ here. The RTX 2080 ti super will 100% start at 2000$ for the low end cards up to 2500$ for the top cards

Not likely. Hardware is just piss expensive here in Denmark and especially GFX cards, when you look at other EU countries.

Just look at where Vegas82 lives (where ever that is) RTX 2080 ti 400$ cheaper then here.

I got my RTX 2080 for 758$ on a super sale. Normal price for it here is 1000$. Thats 100$ cheaper then a RTX 2080 ti where Vegas82 lives, so we are getting butt fucked here in Denmark

I im expecting that. I wrote that in #7. It was Vegas82 that wrote that it would not cost as much as i said it would cost in Denmark

Right, usually when you're talking about rumored pricing the price you cite would be the US price. Especially if you're using US dollars. If you're saying it'll be $2k in Denmark then you should specify such. And from what I've seen you'd be wrong. The pricing is rumored to be the same as the current RTX pricing with the current line getting a reduction in price.

If you would have read my reply to Temp you would see that i was talking about Danish price and tryst me the price here in Denmark WILL be 2000$ or higher

Because new hardware allwasy get's stupide prices here in Denmark at first.

When the i9 9900k lauchen here in Denmark it cost 4800 Kr. (727$). It is now down to 3800 Kr. (576$). Thats a hell of alot more then the start price was in the US and it's the same with almost all new big hardware here in Denmark. Mobo. CPU, GFX, PSU. Taxes on hardware here is stupidly high.

So if we say that the new 2080 ti super will cost 1500$. Then you can shorely add another 500$ to the Danish price
