It's a marker of where the nation's ethnic composition is headed. Worrying about "ethno-nationalism" is about on par with Republicans telling people that the communists are coming for them. It's not happening, it's in history's dustbin, they lost and there's nothing that can really change that at this point.

I am betting you that most of it comes from nationalist people from the US, who hate Russia as much as they do the "socialist" Democratic Party. It's easy to call everything "Russian sockpuppets", while the political division in the US has never been bigger and is creating a lot of irrational behavior.

So Bernie had a $34.5 Million quarter 4 with the Dems overall beating Trump roughly $100 Million to 46 Million. Warren still hasn't posted though which probably means she's underperformed...the question is by how much

Warren is going to post ~19-20m. She's done. Q3 is traditionally the lowest fundraising quarter of the presidential cycle. If you go down from Q3->Q4 that means your campaign is in lots of trouble.

If Warren drops out I'm actually expecting her voters to be split pretty evenly between Pete and Sanders. We've already seen this happen when she dropped 10-15% in December.

They need to charge up the money laser gun as big as they can.

Now someone just needs to get the two billionaires out of the race and have them keep spending $30 million a week on anti-Trump adds in Wisconsin whole endorsing ANY Democrat.

Bernie tops the fundraising field for individual candidates in the last quarter with 34.5 million, solely off small donors, followed by Buttigieg with 24.7 million, Biden with 22.7 million, Warren with 21.2 million, and the last major candidate being Yang with 16.5 million. Bernie's is actually particularly notable because an entirely small donor campaign is competing with an incumbent President - Trump's reelection campaign brought in $46 million in the last quarter, and that's running uncontested in the Republican primary.

In campaign news, Castro ended his campaign and officially endorsed Warren's; there's a lot of speculation that he's been promised a VP pick as a result.

So, this particular thing started about a week ago when he was asked at a New Hampshire town hall if he thought 'picking a Republican vice president would help unite the country'. His answer, verbatim, was as follows:

"The answer is I would, but I can't think of one now,” he said, which prompted some laughter in the room. "There is some really decent Republicans that are out there still, but here's the problem right now, of the well-known ones, they've got to step up."

Biden's supporters dismissed it as a jibe that there aren't any decent well known Republicans, but it riled up a storm in the news and on social media as Biden gaffes are wont to do.

In terms of likelihood; 'unity' tickets are floated every electoral cycle but they never materialise and one isn't likely to crop up now when things are more polarised than ever.

It was a stupid thing to say on Biden's part, but little else.
