It shouldn't even be hard. As you pointed out all Bernie needs to do is point to the judiciary and recent conservative decisions. He can also share the amount of judges Trump got to put into place. It's a very obvious argument about how in a Trump v Biden matchup that Biden is the progressive choice BY FAR and any other vote or abstaining from voting goes directly again the progressive movement's goals.

I'll put this here, no sense in clogging up the forum more.

Justice Democrat Marie Newman took down One of the Most Conservative Corporate Democrats

I'm sure this will upset some of the Moderates, but looks like the Justice Democrats might have taken another seat in the House.

    https://theintercept.com/2020/03/17/...imary-results/
Dan Lipinski, who narrowly survived Marie Newman’s attempt to oust him in 2018, will no longer represent Illinois’s 3rd Congressional District as a Democrat. Newman, following a controversial decision by the state’s Democratic Party to hold its primary amid the coronavirus crisis, narrowly defeated Lipinski in her second attempt, according to projections and a call by Decision Desk HQ. With 90 percent of precincts reporting, Newman took 47.7 percent of the vote, to Lipinski’s 43.6.
Other ones that did well was

Georgette Gomez made it to the run off in March. Unfortunately Jessica Cisneros lost, but only by 3.6% much like Newman who lost her first attempt. So hopefully Jessica can win in the next primary in a few years.

So far though, they have all did well in their races, and it looks like their strategy to be focus on fewer races might just pay off to take out those conservative Democrats.
The worst part about the internet is that it let the truly crazy, racist, and bigots find each other easily.

Regarding that particular situation, I disagree with him, because I don't think the ultimate testimony is ever the "average" outcomes of things, but the outcomes of achieving individuals. The upper echelon if you will. But I digress, as that's not his platform or feelings. Point is: people need to not get so distracted and focus on the issue, not the associations.

you probably the same type of person that shit on me for saying hitler did some things right.

this stuff about bernie's comments was always stupid. every single dictator, warlord, and every other bad person did some things right. ted bundy liked his dog, probably too much. a person pointing that out isn't a bad thing, and never will be.

idk though, sanders shouldn't endorse biden when he drops out, if he wasn't the maintain credibility among his group. his group needs to separate from the democrats as well. create a new political party for it, cause they aren't going to get done what they want through the democrats, and this is just plainly obvious at this point.

Sanders suspends FB ads. This usually is a precursor to fully suspending a campaign.

I'm actually someone that has been shit on ON THIS VERY FORUM for saying I actually agree with ___SOME VERY EXPLICIT___ premises of mein kampf and explicitly absolutely none of the implementation or methodology of Hitler. So, no, I doubt I was. Endus hopped all over me, and probably was who hopped all over you.

I agree, but our country is too caught up on the "zomg, no! If we fracture, the other party will just steam roll us!" Both parties not realizing that if they both just did it, the old guard in both parties would be left with a very small portion that would lose. Trust me, the "right" is just as polarized between the old racist farts and the libertarians as the dems are socialists and whatever it is that currently votes for biden.

That's...disappointing. Sanders needs to get with Biden and give up everything he can to help Biden win. If he doesn't...that speaks volumes to the man's character.

I sincerely hope this time around Sanders is open and boisterous in this support for the nominee. If not, disappointment and a lot of "I told you so's" incoming.

No, they wouldn't. And to say that speaks volumes to how little you know the people posting on this thread. Remember, the GOP is party over country. The Democrats are trying to help the country.

    political suicide.

The problem with this approach is it would give the GOP unprecedented power for probably at least 3 election cycles if not more. Do you really want to see a filibuster proof majority in the Senate with a majority in the house? Because that's what will happen if you split the democratic party into 2.

Helping by offering less money and to less people is country over party how? And backing that as a good plan is proving your point how?

You'll find it matters exactly what premises you were supporting. You get judged on the merits (or lack thereof) of your stated position, accordingly.

That's not somehow a contradiction of my stance on Sanders, since I'm doing the exact same thing with his comments.

Considering you were the one who brought it up at the time (taking a very explicit passage from MK without saying it was from such) and then asking me "how do you feel about this?" Probably waiting to "AH! YOU AGREE!?! HAHA, WOW THIS IS FROM MK BRO! HOW COULD YOU!" I'm not sure I believe you. If you had just disagreed with my feelings, you would have simply stated such and not bothered bringing MK into the discussion at all. You were looking to draw a parallel between my political views and some of hitler's specifically for defamation and distraction.

As for the sanders stuff... I'm not sure I follow. I haven't gone back to read the entire thread, nor do I plan to, nor do I recall any previous convos we had in this thread, so I have no point of reference to engage with regarding that. If you want to TL;DR here (I'm assuming it has to do with his controversial cuban statements), I'd be happy to read and engage with you from there.

If your views align with some of the worse passages in Mein Kampf, pointing that out is not "defamation", just exposure.

    Interesting.

One item of note - Sanders' appearance on Fox News was amazing in the way he brought people into the fold in understanding M4A. He was set to get his ass kicked, and instead blew them all away.

I really do hope this time around Sanders' jumps in with both feet to support the winning nominee. The country needs it.

Weird because all my Cuban friends and Cuban family don’t really care. But one of my friends who has family in Florida notes how Cubans in Florida are soo we conservative compared to up here and pretty racist.

Even my uncle who lives in Florida doesn’t care...

What is hard to understand about geographic differences affecting opinion?

the problem is that the libertarians have their party, it's just they won't fuck off to it and leave the conservative party.

if republicans and dems forced out these other ideologies, it'd shake everything up. we might actually break the two party system. which is why i don't think it'll happen, honestly. they want this system in place, and they're probably confident in their ability to control these other forces within their parties. these other forces will have to leave these parties on their own.

also, i don't think i'm gonna vote for trump now. country's headed in a bad direction no matter who wins, and now the $1,000 plan is only for people that filed taxes? even if they didn't pay any taxes? yeah, you can get re-elected without me then. fucking conservatives.

Haven't you been paying attention. Trump said the young aren't at risk. Trump decommissioned the Pandemic Response Team - and then lied about it. Trump said there was nothing to worry about. Trump, on a daily basis, gets basic facts and information wrong - every day he fucks up items my 13-year-old could convey, and the experts have to fix it. EVERY DAY.

His own team fucked up a written statement.

Other world leaders are acting on advice of experts and implementing national pandemic policy. Trump told the state Governors "find a solution yourself".

The data isn't in the dead/infected, the data is in Trump's words and actions. Today, for fuck's sake TODAY, Trump lied about decommissioning the Pandemic Response Team.
