Are you just being willfully obtuse or flagrantly blind?
Bald dude in armor, both with the only appearance of being human the face with an almost completely robotic appearance for the body. Giant style shoulder plates, both sets of armor with a green chest plate that goes into an white/gray abdomen cover.
Finish it off with the same name.
It’s no different than Blizzard using Bowie as their basis for Moira, even to the point of giving her a skin as an homage of Ziggy Stardust. Tracers lightning skin being an obvious reference to Lightning Max from One Punch Man.
I can’t wait to see a costume skin with him having tattoo lines on his face with a red orb on his forehead.
This isn’t a comparison of bald guy with sword and cape, as you keep trying to point out. It’s a very obvious likeness that anyone with eyes and 1/2 a brain can see. The question is whether Blizzard did it intentionally or not.
sigma balls
Oh like Reinhardt? Or Brig? Or Pharah?
OW sigma has a blue-green centerpiece on his chest armor. Megaman Sigma's entire chestplate is a bright grass green. Nothing about the rest of their armor is designed or colored in remotely the same way, other than their just "being" armor.both sets of armor with a green chest plate that goes into an white/gray abdomen cover.
That of a commonly used Greek letter?Finish it off with the same name.
Moira's initial concept art has nothing to do with David Bowie at all. She initially had tentacles. It’s no different than Blizzard using Bowie as their basis for Moira, even to the point of giving her a skin as an homage of Ziggy Stardust.
They might have made a skin in reference to David Bowie, but that doesn't mean she was a "rip off" of David Bowie or somesuch.
What, in that they both use black and yellow color scheme? Nothing other than that color scheme is similar. (using yellow for lightning isn't exactly "unique") Their hair isn't the same, Tracer has her goggles on, and their body suits are completely different.Tracers lightning skin being an obvious reference to Lightning Max from One Punch Man.
You might as well have said her Lightning Skin is an "obvious reference to a shiny Luxray from pokemon."
And regardless, those are all skins. Not the entire hero.
"Hammond is an obvious hamtaro reference, they're both brown and their names start with H and if you look closely you'll notice they're both hamsters."I can’t wait to see a costume skin with him having tattoo lines on his face with a red orb on his forehead.

You might as well be pitching that.

Let me play as all the old dudes.

To everybody saying that Capcom can't sue; guess again. Simply for the visual similarities and the same name as a character they have, it at least gives them grounds to get the ball rolling on a lawsuit, regardless of the end results. "Well sigma is a letter in the greek alphabet." Yes and no, the letter Σ, pronounced as sigma is, the name "Sigma" isn't. Again, if Capcom was inclined to do so, they could totally get something rolling to at least try and have Blizz's Sigma changed or, at worst, removed.
And then Capcom would be hit with an unclean hands ruling for their trouble, seeing as capcom’s sigma has sported obvious Darth Vader AND Wolverine design elements.
Furthermore, OWs Sigma makes constant reference to the Greek letter sigma (it’s on his freakin uniform,) nor is Sigma his real name. Capcoms is the only one where the name is just a name.

Sigma is literally a word in the greek alphabet. Nobody owns the rights to the greek alphabet as far as i know.
Bald is the only similarity here. Megaman's Sigma isn't a human at all, he's a robot. He also has a more square face with a jutted out chin.
also, going by his latest revision-
https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/...20171005110426
Sigma only resembles a human shaped head.
Giant shoulder plates isn't something on grounds to "sue" for. That being said, MM Sigma has square, jagged shoulders while OW Sigma has rounded.
MM Sigma also has like a forest green for his chest, while OW Sigma has teal. I don't think I should have to point out how drastically different OW Sigma's outfit is from there, considering it has like wires running through it and everything.
The same name means nothing. It's also the name a WoW dev uses on the forums.
They couldn't. Capcom has no copyright on the name Sigma, nor are they "visually similar" except in bulk. They look almost nothing alike.

He is a main barrier tank with CC.
"It's 2013 and I still view the internet on a 560x192 resolution monitor!"
hell , in term of facial resemblance , blizzard sigma share far more similarities with swain from LoL(don't know how to put images directly) :

look at those eyebrows ! time for riot games to sue ! /s
I think you mean that's obviously Geralt from the Witcher.
But yeah he's on the PTR now it seems.
https://www.polygon.com/2019/7/23/20...ities-ultimateSigma is a tank who relies on creating shields around the battlefield and thwarting damage heroes. Here’s a breakdown of his kit:
Hyper Spheres: Sigma launches two gravitic charges, which implode after a short duration, dealing significant damage in an area.
Experimental Barrier: Sigma propels a floating barrier to a location of his choosing. He can recall the barrier at any time.
Kinetic Grasp: Sigma stops incoming projectiles in mid air, converting them into shields.
Accretion: Sigma gathers a mass of debris and flings it at an enemy to knock them down.
Gravitic Flux (Ultimate): Sigma manipulates gravity to lift nearby enemies into the air and slam them back down.

After first game, Sigma is fun, role queue is cool, lets go. Been spending quite a bit of time recently with astrophysics friends, quite amused that suddenly there's an Overwatch hero throwing little black holes around. Tomorrow maybe I'll do the maths and work out how implausible his LMB really is.
