Jeah. But there are some people who dont want others to get a choice because they dont want to think there could be someone who use new models xD I know how it sounds but yeah they exist

Sure, why don't we throw in having an AP grind system like retail has for 3 expansions too?

This doesn't change fact that appearance (again, if choice) is part of gameplay (wiki):

Gameplay is the specific way in which players interact with a game (c) but definition is quite general, hence possible options, so (back to first link): Generally, gameplay is considered to be the overall experience of playing a video game excluding factors like graphics and sound. Game mechanics, on the other hand, is the sets of rules in a game that are intended to produce an enjoyable gaming experience.(c) - customization (choice of race, appearance, name, class) is part of game mechanics, then by definition is part of gameplay.

Well, you can't deny it, just ignore it, and that what you're exactly apparently doing.
    Good thing mods exist.

The better one is that they're bannable

In fact, mods are good only when they're “part of the game” (it's not completely single player, at least not yet), they’re visible: don’t create illusion, that you're controlling character appearance for rest of the world, but really provide this function.

Why no option for "don't care"?

If they redid the models in a way that they are like the ancients but with more polygons, yes.
If it's to have the shitty models we have on retail with their completely changed expression and horrible animations, no.

I'd rather be banned than play with the horrible old models.

It's pretty much just a "STOP LIKING WHAT I DON'T LIKE" thing.

No no no no. You want new models go to retail. Add new models in classic than it is not classic anymore. Me and many others are correct that when people wanted classic they wanted implementations from retail into classic.

  10. #230
Most people don't realize the new models don't have animations for since then removed abilities and spells.

  11. #231
NO! Not the horrible new nelf models...

Don't think any spell used an animation that no longer exists.

But you would literally never see them. It would have zero impact on you or anyone else other than the people that would enjoy them.

This. As long as it's as an option and it has absolutely no impact on others, why not?

You would see them in character art, in guides, in machinimas...

If you want new character models, play the current xpac.

You see them in those places anyway.

Why play the current expansion if people want to play Classic but see the new models? Especially since it would have zero impact on others. It’s ridiculous to demand that everyone play the way you want them to when an option is possible for both parties to have what they want.

And some people think it would be nice to have those new models in Classic. Since it wouldn't impact those that don't want them, what's the harm?

Than it is not classic. People want classic they got it.

How is it not Classic? There are already changes from what was in Vanilla to what is in Classic. If some people want this change, and it doesn't impact those that would prefer not to have it, why be against it?
