The banner advertises new abilities. If that wouldn’t be written there I’d agree with you. But they advertise something as lame as new abilities. Again, if you have a new class coming you would advertise that right there, either instead of or right before advertising new abilities.

Has the banner been confirmed real?

I had a thought about the poster where it says "explore the glorious land of Bastion!"

What if it's not an upper-case Bastion, but rather a lower-case one? In the same way that you would refer to something being "the last bastion of hope", isn't it possible to call a refuge/sanctuary the "land of bastion"? It could just be another name used to refer to the Shadowlands.





I know we went over this topic like hundreds of pages ago but I didn't really give it much thought until now. I just assumed the new place has a silly name and that's it.

To be honest: the whole flavor text from that WA leak doesn't sound very blizzard-ish to me. I am still not sold.

No confirmation it is real either, but with the info given if it is real it is most likely for the demo. It's an actual physical thing since there is no "Prepurchase now" button thingy

As I said, this is an excuse people bring up to retain hope for a new class.

Everytime they added a new class to the game it was available to test right after announcement. AFAIK Hitei checked that some days ago.

Be honest: if you’re Blizzard, you would have a new class demo prepared for your biggest event of the year, wouldn’t you?
