Hm. On one hand that's stuff we all already knew. On the other hand, it does match stuff like the Climate Change Northrend map.

Yeah. Alternate paths to something wouldn't hurt. Tabards that give rep when you do dungeons, being able to target mission table quests that give rep tokens way more often than they do now for a passive form of rep gain, etc. Then World Quests could be the fastest method if you're actively doing them, but you still have options for jumping in, setting a few mission table things up, maybe do a dungeon, then log out.

Yeah, this is where I actually LOVED Cata/Wrath. The rep gating was still present, but at least I could set my own damn pace. And even Mists had the option of choosing my rep for dungeon runs. Options to grind it out other than "here's the singular drip feed of dailies with a bonus for doing four of them from time to time".

How is the Northrend glacier melting due to magic in any way comparable to real world politics and actual real world climate change? I don't get it.

There was a map "leaked" a while back of a climate-change Northrend which Post-Cataclysm changes to it. Either this leak is purposely referencing that map (entirely possible), or they have some credence to them.

I can't find the map offhand, but someone might have a link.

"Climate change". It might just be how people are describing it. Melting due to magic != climate change.
