"One from Covenants" is great because we all know our Covenant bonuses are going away after Shadowlands. It's just Artifacts by a new name.

If we get more general abiltiies that means more abilities that will not go away after Shadowlands.

Which is BAD - because it means we aren't actually getting classes that FEEL NEW. Its the same old classes with a few new class thematic abilities, but nothing that truly changes how the classes feel.

For example, even if mage gets 2-3 new abilities that seem "Necromantic" like, they aren't going to feel like necromancers - only covenant abilities could have done that.

I don't need another fire mage skill, another frost mage skill, another arcane mage skill. I want skills and mechanical gameplay that truly feel different.

No, in the sense that there are 4 subclasses that each modify your base class. IE a Necrolord DK vs a Kyrian DK is going to have different abilities, right?

I mean just think about it, if they go this route they would have to create new talent trees and abilities for every covenant and every class which amasses to 48 different versions. Does that sound likely to you?

Oh so all that stuff Lapi just dead was just to join your Covenant.

The first Kyrian ability is basically an enhanced fade. Reduces aggro it looked like, increases movement speed, and makes you harder to detect for a short time.

Keep in mind, that's only for Druids. Every class has four sets of new abilities and talents, one set for each Covenant. They're basically new supspecs. (which means they spent time making up a bunch of angelic abilities exclusively for Kyrian Covenant DKs lol)

A squish without a leveling revamp or world revamp is completely pointless and accomplishes nothing. This is the worst case scenario.
