It's only four weeks until January, and 8.3 is supposed to be released that month....

The thread stopped moving because of both the lack of actual things to discuss that are not better suited to other threads, and the fact that 8.3 is not out yet, meaning player focus is on that patch instead of the new expansion.
Once 8.3, and perhaps as importantly, the raid, has come out, the thread will pick up speed again as the discussion can switch to when the next infodump/livestream will be.The world revamp dream will never die!

I mean do you blame them? No new races and no new classes, and only 4 new zones. Sure race customization is nice, but from the looks of it this expansion is pretty lackluster. Originally Posted by artam

Not really....its just not what people expected therefore its not good enough. People whined about BFA to and that at least from SOME people's perspectives more but I don't really buy it. The hottakes from this forum even thinks Legion was just as bad but...I just think people here aren't really sure what they want. Originally Posted by Ticj

Presumably you will have to pre-order. At least htat is how it used to work for all the previous ones. It will not change until you buy the expansion or BfA beceoms part of the base game. Originally Posted by Makabreska

I'm definitely curious to see how far along they are. Based on the initial previews from Blizzcon, everything seemed pretty early in development compared to previous expansions. Makes me slightly nervous on top of the lukewarm reception the announcement had.
I've heard that several streamers/Youtubers are gearing up to be extra thorough and harsh when it comes to feedback. A lot of people really want this expansion to be successful.
