    This is so cool! Too cool to ever be a class Blizzard would add. I imagine if they give us necromancer it won't be as creative as your ideas here. But thanks for sharing such an awesome concept.

    Imagine how dull this would be in China with all the bone censorship. xD

    First thing first: You did an amazing ammount of work on these. I don't know how this would work with the raid meta or the pvp balance so can't comment on those, but I really appreciate how much thought went into these. And I love the faithless necromancer idea. I once tried to do a similar one for FFXIV with class stories and everything. If you want I can try to look for it.

    Found it. It was harder than I believed cause Necros are very popular. Especially healer necros.

    A few things:

    - As weird as Pandaren necromancer would sound, they don't have access to any of the hero classes. They need some love.
    - If Necromancer starts at or before 100 you will need a Class Order and three artifact weapons.
    - Undeath Necromancers need some work. The undead forms only give advantages. Much like Moonkin or Shadowform I dislike forms that don't have durations or disadvantages so they are just switched on and left. These abilities don't really interact with others and are just boring. I know WoW does these a lot, but I don't like them.

    I don't see it much of a problem. There's no rule that says two classes can't summon the same type of mob, as both Shamans and Mages use elementals. My Undeath is nowhere near the theme of Unholy as the Undeath Necromancer is capable of turning permanently undead. Also all of my Necromancers pets are duration based, so DKs can keep the permanent theme. Thank you for your post!

    I'll definitely check out your FFXIV concept!

    I guess depending on what lore they use as to WHY Necromancers become a class would have to explain whether or not Panderan begin to practice necromancy. I'm not against the idea. Yes, I also believe any new class that comes into WoW will be after level 100 so that they do not need to make a class hall/artifact weapon. As for Undeath's forms, there is a major disadvantage in the talent forms and that's your damage decreases by 30%. The other forms are meant for utility only (Nerubian-tank, Stalker-mobility, mummy-healing). So that's why their abilities are relatively simple. It's their passive effects that make them powerful, but if you want to deal damage, you have to switch back to your Lich form.

    Cool concept mate. Lots of effort put on this, we can tell.

    I still prefer dark rangers and tinkers first though, because they are more diverse from the current playable classes.

    Wow, awesome. edit: actually I will remove blizz bashing. Just want to say great job, this is great. Old school quality, reminds me of when devs are just starting out and still care about their creation. Great stuff.

    Certainly far superior than any tinker builds I have seen. They always seem so shallow and independant from the game. You have put thought into how they will function in the game world, on their own two feet. And unlike the tinker crap, it isn't just a bunch of abilities and systems that already exist in the game, but with new names and icons - there is enough here to make a unique and interesting class.

    Although I fully expect mechanic to be added "soon", I doubt it will look anything like the generic "tinker" copy paste stuff on these forums.

    Great work, I'm sure this took a lot of time. As such, I will take more time to read through it while in the office, and try to give it a proper opinion.

    THIS IS REAL NECROMANCER LOVE!!! YES.... YES AND YES!!! WELL DONE WORK 10/10.... i hope with all my heart they will come soon.....

    Since I have WANTED NECROMACERS SINCE 2005...... my main race in Warcraft 3 where undead and I love the necromancers!!!!

    PS: even in Elder Scrolls Online... they made a new class just a month ago "THE NECROMANCER"... we need something like that in World of Warcraft... but I would like it a heavy summoner class.... many skeletons and golems.

    PSS: to me a pefect Necromacer would be the necromacer from DIABLO II.... just love the ideas behind it...


    PSSS: The Necromancer class should NOT be a HERO CLASS, I think it should start from level 1... since it could make you feel like Necormacer Scolar of some sort and that would fit with the Lore, since many Necromcaers started within other schools of magic then moved over to Necromancy

    Nice effort, and well done. But to nickpit a bit: The Necromancer is lorewise a normal class, not a hero class. A Dark Ranger, or a Lich would be a hero class.

    Blizzard have used the term hero class for classes that are inspired by the "Hero units" from WC3 (with the exception of Paladin, but that was before they added the concept of a hero class to WoW).

    Best concept thread I've seen here, and I like that you specified "level 130" intead of adhering to the awful idea of the level squish. Introducing chemist specs would also help it differentiate it further from Warlock/DK.

    The only thing though... I hope it wouldn't be a hero class, only because Necromancer feels like a regular class like Mage/Warlock and I'd love to play it from 1-130 since it's so bad ass. Other than that, just take my money now.

    Back years ago when I made the first concept, I wanted to try and bake the Necromancer and Dark Ranger together, but I couldn't make it work. Thaks though!

    I didn't get to see your Blizz bashing but don't worry, I have my fair share of frustration with them too. I haven't played hardly any of BFA because of how bad I feel things are, and I'm a Vanilla player who has never stopped once...till now!

    Who knows, Blizz might and try to pull some of the Necromancer ESO hype off them and make their own concept!

    As I said above, I only made them a hero class because I can't see Blizzard taking the time to make an artifact weapon for new classes, but maybe since this concept incorporates a Lich spec it can pass the hero class test, haha.

    Thanks for looking at the talents! I always feel like nobody really looks at those when I put just as much thought into them, haha. Perhaps if Blizzard makes artifact weapons for new classes it could be just a regular class. Thank you!!
