Help with possible PSU Upgrade

Hello,
I just got a PSU from my brother, because he don't need it anymore and just gave it to me. I'm now wondering, if its better then the one that I currently have, but I dont have a clue, how to compare those. I know it has more Watts, but is this all that matters in a PSU ?
The one I have : Be Quiet Pure Power l8-cm 630 W PSU
The one from my brother : CoolerMaster B700 ver.2

It wont make any difference at all, they are averagely the same, maybe yours slightly better from the fact its supposedly more silent (Thats what Be quiet aims for) and tiny % more efficient at high load.

Just keep the second as backup in case something happens.

I can't find a single trustworthy review of the CM B700 Version 2. What I can tell you is that it's from 2015, and only 80+ white (only if you use 230V input). Which means it's 4 years old and not very efficient.

However yours is approaching 8 years, but was positively reviewed for its time.

What is your computer specs? That matters too.

Yeah just keep the PSU you got and have the other one around as a spare if something goes wrong.
