You are not told to kill them, you are told to put them to sleep, she only tells the player that she doesn't care if they kill them... That's entirely the player's choice, and that choice is on them.

Except his assets are targeted before he does any of that...
Were they? Vereesa says some stuff about assets in the dalaran banks being forefit (which is unquestionably wrong, obviously) but I doubt he knew that, so what was his justification for attacking the Alliance player on sight without warning?

Except we know that Dalaran has a process. It may not be due, but it is something as opposed to jack shit given to the Sunreavers. When the Kirin Tor got suspicious of Kel'Thuzad members of the Council searched his quarters to gather evidence and when they got it they confronted him with the possibility of punishment. And even then he was given an opportunity to renounce his wrongdoing.
Antonidas did that out of fear of Dalaran's reputation being tarnished by the study of necromancy (and this is long before the scourge were ever a thing so while it was viewed harshly it wasn't nearly to the same degree as later)... That's a lot more tame than being suspected of treason.

goddamn Khadgar.
yes, Khadgar, who was not even really in the Kirin Tor at the time and IIRC was still in Shattrath during MoP, went and stole a powerful magical artifact from Darnassus, and then smuggled it through Dalaran.

uh-hu.
