You have already seen them
I'd just like to see another Cataclysm-style revamp, tbh. This time, however, I'd like to see changes in Northrend, Outland, and Pandaria as well. Implementation of WQs in all the zones. New starting experiences and stories for all races. Stuff like that.
In response to Lachlol I understand the technology part of Legion is jarring but I don't see how demons could come in an actual invasion way. Like I said about BC, they sorta had the idea about Legion ships. They just went all the way with it, weird as it was. I think probably the worst part is well the Vindicaar. It being in charge of the Army of Light(Lightforged dudes) well......obvious elephant in the room.
Of course they could get rid of it with some pseudo deux ex machina(Like destroying the Sword or killing N'zoth by crashing into him). That aside.... Any new world we go to....I'd sooner expect Karesh since I know Ion was interested in that idea. I'm partial to visiting one of the Moons of Azeroth though.

I know the Shadowlands "leak" is probably fanfiction, but...it actually seemed pretty cool to me. I could be up for that.
edit: also anything on alien planets (except Argus because that was a shithole). Much as I disliked WoD overall as an expansion, I thought Draenor was beautiful. And Outland is one of many reasons that BC is my favorite expansion.

underworld
I didn't ever state that it was mentioned anywhere neither that it is "the original source" - I don't even know where the hell did you pull out from.
BfA didn't have to cover every place that had Azerite sprout from the ground. It might just happen that Kezan had said Azerite sprouts which i.e. Gallywix knows about but didn't share for his own profit and it might just happen that Azerite healed the land around or did some other crazy stuff and we find out about that just now, possibly 9.0.

The opposite position where the Maelstrom is located at... Whats there?
C'mon, dude. The Broken Isles barely had something beyond the Tomb of Sargeras and Suramar ruins, and they greatly expanded on it.
Pandaria was a island were Pandaren lived, and now it houses WoW's most increndible lore.
Dragon Isles could be about Mechagnomes building giant metal dragons for all we know.
A planet inhabited by Ethereals, torn between Void and Light ethereal factions. Super psychedelic and alien-like purple zone in combination with bio-domes like the ones in Netherstorm. Lots of crystals and portals and energies flowing around. Huge open areas with epic vistas (a Mulgore-like zone with a huge ridge overlooking some valley).
Dragon isles - a cluster of 5 islands, one for each dragonflight. An Emerald Dream-esque zone for Green Dragonflight. Tanaris-like desert for Bronze Dragonflight. Dragonblight-like zone for Blue Dragonflight. Eversong Woods (or Ruby Sanctum)-like zone for Red Dragonflight, Twilight Highlands-like zone for the Black Dragonflight.
Green: Partially a huge forest with many twisting tree branches and partially an evergreen valley with weird circle-like objects like in the original Emerald Dream artwork and the incomplete zone. You can mix in some rivers, rocks, waterfalls and mist like you see in Bonich (Argus Invasion Point).
Bronze: A huge wasteland with lots of ridges like Nagrand and Frostfire Ridge, but desert style. Humongous dragon bones scattered around, rocks floating in the air like in the Caverns of Time.
Blue: Frostfire Ridge frozen lakes and ridges scattered around a huge snowy wasteland with blue crystals and energies floating around. Ley line points around the map (like Suramar) and connecting them gives you some sort of power or convenience buff.
Red: A crimson forest with beautiful trees and flowers like in Eversong Woods. Trees that burst into flames and turn into flaming dragons. Beautiful architecture, libraries full with history of the mortals (red dragonflight are closest to mortals and have been watching them since the beginning). Floating buildings/spires in the air and the dragons fly from one to the other - some would house libraries, others would be dining halls, etc. A sky city with architecture akin to blood elven.
Black: A highland/valley with lots of black rock formations, crystals spiking up from the ground, caves, tunnels, lava pools, volcanoes. Grass, flowers, bushes and trees made of metals. Places with strong magnetic forces - some would pull you to the ground, making you move slower and making you unable to fly, others would pump you up in the air. Earthquakes and rockslides.
Dragon Isles are a part of the lore because it is said to have shrines dedicated to the Old Gods, I never said it didnt have ANY Dragons at all, sure there can be dragons, but thats not why its named that, as I said, the island has less to do with dragons, and more with the Old Gods.
If the Dragon Isles had shrines or landmasses dedicated to the dragonflights, then why on earth, would Blizzard just make Dragonblight, and the Dragon Shrines? or Wyrmrest Temple for that matter, if thats the case Blizzard just contradicted their own Lich King Lore as well as Cataclysm. If thats the home of the Dragonflights, then Alexstraza would be where she is at currently in game, she and her offspring would be there.

There's absolutely no confirmation about the presence of absence of Old God shrines in the Dragon Isles except a very early concept / intention from long time ago.
Those shrines are part of the Lore as much as Uldum being a full continent on itself.
The only canon thing about this place right now is that Wrathion is searching for it.
