Did you just ask if it's in his best interest to ask other countries for dirt on political opponents? So you want him to break the law some more.....right.

Why hasn't Trump tried to gather dirt on Warren, Sanders, Beto, Klobuchar, and the rest of them? Why only focus on Biden? Biden is the least likely of all of them to get the DNC nomination. If Trump was really trying to gather dirt on his political rivals he should be focusing on Warren at the least.
He has, at least on Warren when she started climbing the polls. You must be rda's new account. Because you post just like him, ignorant and moving the goalposts.

Yes he did. You would know if you read ANYTHING.

I've reported every post Julez has made and send a forum PM to the globals.

Let's see if anything gets done with respect to it.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was rda that claimed he/she was leaving the forum, and claimed they would give everyone money if they posted again.

Doubt it. There has been lots of conspiracy theories and the same talking points thrown out by the same posters. Shalcker and Julez, and like I said, it sounds just like rda and their standard moving the goalposts tactic like Shalcker does.

Thursday can't get here soon enough. Has anyone seen any reporting on what the timeline would look like after the vote? How quickly would they move into open hearings? How about the release of the transcripts from the closed hearings? I'm hoping after the vote the documents are released over the weekend and then the open hearings start the following week.

Agreed. I would like Pelosi to own next week's news cycle, so to that end, I wouldn't mind seeing a piecemeal release of some key documents, or one section, or something similar. And then a dump on Monday. Plus, they will need a redaction team for some of the names.

The GOP asked for public hearings...Here. We. Go.

There is a part of me that wonders if him getting snubbed at Cummings memorial is making that turtle feel he took his politics too far. Him not attempting to defend trump at all is weird.

He might also be realizing the count right now is at six for sources confirming quid pro quo. If it was one or two, perhaps. But this is six, including a decorated military officer and Trump's own Ambassador.

Trump: I officially support the HK protests
    Dems/Republicans: IMPEACH HIM!
Trump:HK people are my favorite people. Good people those HK people.

Trump: Guess i'm outta a job.

I wonder if this would be a sure fire way to get him out of office.

Ok this is dumb of me to ask, but if trump is somehow successfully removed, does that actually stop him from running in 2020?

Yes. It disqualifies him immediately. He also can’t be someone’s VP.

Some have debated he might face prison time or some type of charge IF he's kicked out. I'm really hoping he faces some jail time, but that's just me. I would think this would prohibit him from running as a 2020 presidential candidate. Also yea, if he's kicked out he's disqualified.

I believe in the Constitution it disqualifies him from office, and holding office ever again.

Actually, the Constitution is unclear on that. From what I've read so far, the Impeachment immediately removes him from office. However, a separate declaration to say that he cannot run for office again must also be passed.

But again, that piece of it is murky.

If removed from office, he would immediately eschew the protections of the Executive office, and be "eligible" for prosecution. Pence can pardon him, but only of federal crimes, and the pardon still requires a confession.

Not if he resigns, but, resigning then re-running is pointless even by Trump standards. @Vegas82 is right about the rest.

@cubby yeah, I’m seeing similar interpretations and precedent to support it. I guess they’d have 2 votes if he were removed from office. First they’d vote to remove, then they’d vote on whether or not he’s disqualified. It would be pretty bad if he was removed and then re-elected. Him even being removed still feels like a long shot, so this is all feels like pointless speculation. I guess we’ll see how much the GOP stays behind him once everything is public.

Even though he’s gone bankrupt more than the coal industry I find his resignation to be improbable. Although if it looks like he’s going to be fired anything is possible.
