Great, then the Senate can subpoena him, problem solved.

I guess that will look bad on the GOP if they don't right?

And it's nice to know you are going to blame the Senate (specifically the GOP) for not calling more witnesses, like Trump, Mulvaney, Giuliani, Pompeo, and Bolton.

Or, is this yet another time where you are going to be completely hypocritical in your stance?

You'll be relieved to know the Senate calling for witnesses and documents in an impeachment proceeding IS the process lawfully playing out.

So you admit that the trump team is lawless.

Thanks for giving a reason for your support of impeachment.

Yes, so why is McGahn still not testifying as the court ordered?

Conducting a thorough investigation takes time...several years for both Nixon and Clinton. Cutting corners in a 'rush to impeach' completely undermines the credibility of the process and makes it look like a politically motivated witch hunt.

Then you're in favor of the Senate calling for witness and documents. Cool, welcome to the fold.

So why is the Senate rushing through this instead of calling for witnesses, and asking Trump himself to go under oath?

Quit sealioning, it's not a favorable look for you.

Well, when you're potentially trying someone for election interference, you generally try to do that before an election, not after. The administrations whole strategy has been to stonewall, and mostly fail.

And it's ironic you mention "witch hunt" with the Clinton investigation, given that what began as an investigation into Whitewater turned up nothing and ended up being about a blowjob. And was so outrageous that it led to the overhaul of the rules of how special/independent counsels operate.

Also, why is the Senate in such a rush? Are they being politically motivated too?

The Department of Justice advised McGahn not to testify while it appeals the court decision. You certainly know this.

Irrelevant to your current concern and context. Bolton could easily strut up to the stand, slapped his dick on the Bible, and said "What's up bitches, let's do this!"

He chose not to. The subpoena to force the issue is therefore not the problem with "why wait for Bolton".

SO hoping I heard this guy wrong in the Senate stuff, he actually tried to use the excuse that Abuse of Power isn't impeachable because it didn't include ENOUGH crimes.

He followed it up with "Commission of a crime, isn't enough to remove a duly elected official"

    - - - Updated - - -

And then mentions that regardless of the crimes, it is all about the 2/3rds consensus.

This fucker has some balls to come up with some fucked up shit like that.

Oh please the GOP they will gladly crawl through the vilest shit this world could make in order to defend the parties corruption and crimes.

Trump impeachment attorney Ken Starr: "The Senate is being called to sit as the high court of impeachment all too frequently. Indeed we're living in what I think can be aptly described as the age of impeachment."

This is why Republicans have no shame. They guy who at best very little but saying President Clinton lied under oath about Lewinsky.

Oh Trumpkins if you want to go there that Clinton lied, remember they know not even bring Trump within a mile of a sworn deposition.
Democrats are the best! I will never ever question a Democrat again. I LOVE the Democrats!

He finished his talk about the first article by saying that it wasn't bipartisan and going about that.

Now he is talking about Obstruction and he is going over all the Republican highlight lies on that.....

He is trying to call the house subpoenas invalid because it wasn't issued by the total house while ignoring the rules change the Republicans did in 2015.

    - - - Updated - - -

Now to Clinton and how he tried to abuse executive privilege and was shot down in court.
Trump has yet to official even use Executive Privilege (As I have read it) as that requires him to actual point to which parts they are trying to execute it over. Trump just says it and claims it applies to everything and ignores the 90,000 or so documents that Clinton had already turned over.

Well, let you guys take over the commentary on it from this point. About to have to AFK soon for the school bus to get home. If anything of consequence of this comes up, please let me know.

So far, their entire defense relies on the hope that no one has paid attention to anything till last Saturday.

Trump would be nightmare on the stand....as he and the truth have a rather promiscuous relationship.

Yes, Trump is a complete and total liar, which is why I find it so funny that you defend him constantly.

Just listened to them commit the lie of omission showing footage of Sonland while claiming that they got the assistance without the announcement while ignoring the rest of Sonlands stuff where even he said it was a condition of it originally or that the aid was only released after the whistle-blower complaint had already hit congress....

AFK, please someone else keep an eye out on it and post updates.
