I guess with 2 years of Mueller report not being enough, what's 2 more? /shrugs

Wow - Republican sitting Senators openly saying that the information is enough to be bad.

    And. Here. We. Go.

Ok so if there wasn't any doubt that they are acting like children; they were literally just brought "snacks".

Good to know that the Gop has nothing better to do than squatting and eating cheez-its.
    IMPOTUS Donald Trump's presidency summarized:
-- as he blamed others for the crisis, basked in self-congratulation and xenophobia, and misled the country about his actions so far.

It's almost like that was a completely different investigation based on completely different evidence looking into completely different matters, run by a completely different group of people under completely different rules.

Also known as: Completely different matters that aren't directly comparable.

Imagine being on a Jury of 12 and only 1 gets to hear the evidence, then they judge says, ok here is one piece of paper but you all have to share. Sounds like that guy would walk free.

Imagine mistaking an investigation for a jury.

Everyone here said we had enough with the Mueller report for not only impeachment but also criminal prosecution, was that a bust? If we keep waiting to investigate new stuff that happens then we will always be waiting because Trump is a criminal and there will always be new stuff, no?

Everyone who has a vote needs to be aware of everything in the investigation, do you disagree with this principle?

I agree with you! The optics would be amazing!

If they want to act like misbehaving children, then they should be treated as such imo.

So what, do you think that the House will vote to impeach and send to the Senate (who are functionally the 'jury' in this analogy) without including all the evidence supporting their articles of impeachment or something?

    And we've already covered this - https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article...ublic-hearings

Democrats are doing early investigatory work for now and will open this up more to the public. Almost like they're not looking to have a public dog-and-pony show with the full investigation that Republicans would decry as nothing but a political stunt.

Then why are you calling for a vote before they’ve come to the point in the investigation where they make the evidence public?

It's very unprecedented, we have Clinton to compare how his investigation went.

Agreed. Rushing investigations is how we got Brett Kravenugh as a SC seat. >_<

    They would be!

"Lawless Republicans jeopardizing secure locations forcefully removed by capitol police after refusing to abide by lawful orders."

Would sure make any Republican ever trying to claim to be the party of "law and order" have an uphill battle in selling that bullshit.

The House should have all the evidence, not just a select few

Not to mention that there was nothing to it and everyone knew it which why nothing else has come of it.

Not to mention that the Russia Mueller investigation turned up a ton of shit... but left it to Congress to act on it sighting he didn't believe in prosecuting a sitting president. That, and Dumbass Donnie's snugglebum releasing that clearly lying bullspit 'summary' the day before.

Nah... they'd shout "DEEP STATE" and be done with it.

Then, their browncoats would goose-step onto the forums here and equate what's happening to them with Hong Kong Protests to misdirect rage.

Everyone whining that they need to "investigate" more, please explain what they are investigating? The original "reason" for the whole inquiry was a whistleblower that was rendered worthless because of a real transcript instead of second hand knowledge. So now it's about whatever they want to try and find...so basically the same as every day since Trump was elected. This is fishing and is sad because you actually believe this illusion is an actual process . Schiff is bringing in sympathetic government officials who hate Trump. How can this inquiry be valid if only one party gets to ask questions and get details......it's a scam. If Republicans did this, you guys would be crying bloody murder.

Yes and an impeachment inquiry that only involves one party makes you very correct.

I love that you don't see the hypocrisy of your statement. Your bad faith posting is getting as desperate as the GOP's deflection.

The House is moving along at the pace they wish, within the rules they set out. It's their show. If you're still confused by what they are doing, reread this thread - people have answered your questions a half-dozen times already.

what evidence do they have? This inquiry was over a whistleblower and a phone call that he had second hand knowledge of. His testimony was going to be so bad that they canceled it after Trump released a transcript of the call. Why are they conducting their own Mueller probe when they already got proven false about the original reason for the inquiry?
