    Paladin SOC

Hi, i just wanted to know if SoC was a proc chance or just a fix PPM ?

"PPM" does not exist in vanilla, just proc chance. SoC's proc chance scales with weapon speed, slower weapons have higher proc chances.

The irony that you say PPM doesn't exist and then literally say it's proc chance scales with Weapon speed which is exactly what PPM is for.

Yes it does. Seal of Crusader processes 7 times per minute. It will process more if your wep speed is slower than 3.5.

If your wep speed is faster than 3.5 you use SoR, if its slower you use SoC. Because PPM is a thing.

"PPM" is just an easier way of explaining how the scaling proc chance works. You are not guaranteed 7 procs every minute, and I've gotten more procs than that in the span of a minute.

95% chance to proc when it will overkill your target

And about nil when you really, really desperately need that burst.

As others have said it's set to 7 PPM. Best to use on a slower weapon so those "7" procs do more dmg.

i think what he means is that blizz in later expansions put proc limits on trinkets/abilities and that SoC can proc more or less depending on luck and isnt a limited # based on design

To add on to this heres an example.

    4 sec attack speed weapon. 60 seconds / 4 sec = 15 swings a minute.

    7/15 = .4667 or 46.67% chance to proc it.

    2 sec attack speed. 60 / 2 sec = 30 swings

    7/30 = .2333 or 23.33% chance to proc it.

Because the faster swing weapon will proc it about 1 in ever 4 swings instead of about 1 in every 2 swings like the slower weapon, it's better to use a different seal.

I think he meant RPPM doesn't exist in Vanilla

Of course,PPM always exists due to the way it works, but he's right on saying that RPPM doesn't exist
