Worst experience in Classic so far?

Oh dear, yet again you are shown to have no clue at all about this game, and yet stamp your feet spitting "facts" at people.

This is my worst experience in Classic. Players that know nothing, but think they know it all, and thus ruin everyone's experience they run across. The in game tooltip for spirit even tells you it regens health. It's not even a behind the scenes secret.

Let's say spirit actually did only aid in mana regen. If I were a Warrior, and if this item had more stam and armor than my current cloak, then yes I do need it, and I would be a moron to not need on it.

When a guy stole my chest.
It was behind 2 mobs that I clearly pulled in order to kill and then loot the chest
But the fucker just walked up to it while I was fighting and stole it
I put him on ignore

Classic is a good reminder why certain things were changed:

1.People just randomnly clicking on things despite not knowing what they're doing (BFD braziers, some quest objective that spawns mobs, etc.)
2.People starting escort quests without checking whether other people are on the same step (Shitty design by Blizz as well, but doesn't excuse it)
3.People rolling on gear they don't really need (quoting a hunter here in SFK on why he rolled need on items with Int (no Agi on it): "I'm a Mana class")
4.People being assholes during loot distribution (Had an Enhancement Shaman switch to Resto gear during Loot distribution in order to roll on a Tier set piece, would've even gotten through with it if other people hadn't called him out).
5.People waiting to roll on certain items (LBRS Gems, Scourgestones, etc.) until everybody selected greed, then hit need, then pull out the "oops i thought we would roll all need" excuse.
6.People stealing nodes while you are currently fighting the mobs that guard said node

it's a cloak with 15stam and 5 spirit you're mental if you think only a healer can roll on it

thank you all for comming to my aid when some idiot tried to quote me saying spirit only affects mana... it saved me the time of having to screenshot the ingame tooltip and explain the warrior leveling experience

Leveling is great. It's really all there is to do. I can't wait to hit 60, so I can start another character. The journey is timeless.

All the endless walking around. It actually made me stop. I could stand many things about Classic and enjoy some of them, but 13 years of mounts and flying mounts + fast travel in almost every RPG under the sun have made me unable to commit to a game that wastes my time so much, which is compounded by 1 hour Hearthstones, long-ass graveyard runs and having to go back to train, plus the fact that I know this world already so any sense of exploration or discovery is gone from the onset.

The few issues i've had have all been of the same.

Running a pug for any specific dungeon, and having people roll need on completely wrong items for their class. Rogues rolling on cloth int shoulders, priests rolling on str rings, and stuff like that, feral druids

It just happens too frequently, and on some items it's just frustrating as hell. I'm not talking about off specs, but plain wrong stats. Unless people just want to fund their mounts, but still.

haha, i hear this so often, but for me, leveling IS vanilla. After reaching 60 on my main (Warrior) i'm already working on alts, it's a blast. (after being done on horde chars, i'll probably level them all again on Alliance \o/, i'll probably be done by 2021)

That's pretty strong language coming from someone who thinks you have to delete your toon if you are called a ninja. Tell me where it says that this warrior didn't need it?

I'm busy so I'll tell you. No where. Here's where your argument falls down. You don't know what the warrior has equipped. It is entirely feasible for the warrior to have had a item equipped that had less stamina and less spirit on it.

Let's forget spirit because obviously it enrages you so much that you stop thinking. If the warrior had a cloak where the only useful (in your eyes) stat was Stam, then it's an upgrade. Simple right? Need roll is justified.

Now let's get you frothing. Spirit is not a useless stat for anyone. Spirit can be used to regenerate health. Everyone has health.

Before my last post, no one has said what cloak the warrior had. It could have been a legitimate roll.

You continue to show that not only did you not play Vanilla, you also show a lack of understanding of what an upgrade is and what stats do.

I was in ashenvale and saw an ally druid 1 lvl above me. I'm pretty geared and know i can take him but I got too excited and didn't drop my trap in time.
It was close... I almost killed him, I know I could have. I wanted blood so bad and to kill him so I started farming around that area... Trying to bait him because I knew hes the type of skum that would hide in stealth.

I accidentally pulled an extra mob, no big deal I can handle it... I'm at 50 percent life and just then the coward jumps me in mid combat!!

What makes me mad is he probably ran away thinking "oh I just owned him Hahah"...

Pardon the ignorance, but it’s been years since I played where this type of gear was useful, but doesn’t Spirit only aid in health regen outside of combat? Even if not, the stat would be so low (unless Warriors are actively stacking it for god knows what reason) that it basically doesn’t even mean anything?
Isn’t this whole situation like a Hunter or Rogue rolling a strength weapon because they can attack in melee? Wouldn’t that piss off a Warrior or Paladin player?
Granted, it also seems like a jerk move to DE it in front of him, but that shard making an enchant that matters seems more beneficial than a Warrior needing a cloak with Spirit.

I haven't had any particularly bad experiences. My problem is that it seems like every time I'm questing somewhere and there aren't many people, all of a sudden, there are dozens of people doing the same quest.

Worst (and only bad) experience I had so far was when I had to kill a couple fire elementals in that binding circle in Arathi Highlands for a warlock quest and two people who were there started screeching at me for "ruining their gold farm" and "stealing their mobs"
I proposed grouping up so that I could get my quest items and leave,but they went on about how I just wanted to steal their....whatever they were farming.

These people were clearly a bit special so I got my two smoldering coals and left them there without trying to push the diplomacy further

Just got out of a dungeon where the warrior tank didnt use rend, thunderclap or charge. Pulled everything with his gun and couldn't figure out why the healer kept dying to aggro. Never finished the instance after over 2 hours and 4 wipes.

Arathi Highlands, south/west
Underwater quest with nagas who use a 10 second net ability on you, even if ur pet has aggro, died more during these quests than whole leveling trip up to that point.

You really are an idiot. You don't know how to read. I never said someone HAS to delete a character. I said I made that decision of my own volition.

I was wrong about Spirit and I admit that. BUT it only heals you out of combat. It has no use for a warrior in combat. Spirit hasn't been used since Cataclysm which was almost ten fucking years ago. So I made a mistake about how it used to function. It happens and I admit my mistake.

But I'm not apologizing for shit. I don't really care what the warrior wanted. The healer is allowed to roll too. ANYONE could have rolled and then did what they wanted with it if they had agreed to the loot rules prior to the dungeon. So...whatever dude. Go off, I guess.

Usually my worst experiences are with warriors. If hunters attracts clueless and bad players, warriors seems to attract toxic and entitled trash.

Came in as replacement for SM cath, one warrior raged at me and another that it took so long we didn't start at the entrance of SM (despite asking in global LookingForGroup) and got continously ganked by ?? horde on the way there.

Various ninjalooting from of course warriors. Usually staves but the worst case was a warrior (not the above one) stealing the healing hammer from SM cath.

All in all it has been a good experience overall except developing a hatred for warrior players. A bunch of ninjalooters that are subpar tanks (the players, not the class).
