Not to mention the precious minerals used in this components that make up phones not produced in China come from Chinese owned mines in China and Africa. So there really is no getting around this. Being mad at Blizzard and screaming about it or boycotting it does nothing but make the individual feel good about doing nothing. This is low hanging fruit. It's the easiest way to say your are doing something without actually doing anything.

The defeatism is sad.

They used to be at 90% sure, however they're now only around 2/3rd of the world capacity with US jumping in and Australia picking up output. Along with Japan potentially going into market with the absurd deposit they found. It's not something so straight forward as it was 10 years ago.

Sitting around decrying others of trying to do something is quite sad though. I guess it's easier for you to feel better this way.

People seem to want a silver bullet solution that hurts no one and costs nothing, yeah that's not happening. It's just quite sad to see defeatism as the only way for a lot of people. Protesting to cut business ties with china is something people can do locally. I don't expect people to go to Hong Kong and protest there, that's unreasonable, but decrying others for trying to do something is just... sad. If we do nothing and we'll get nothing.
