    Blame the Chinese Government!

If Blizzard didn't ban that kid from hearthstone, then the Chinese authoritarian government would ban the company from the Chinese market so millions of profits lost for blizzard. Blizzard is a business.

If you criticize Winnie-The-Pooh (xi jinping) or the government, you are getting banned from China. It's a disgusting country.

I love how everyone is all for boycotting blizzard...ever think about what happens if Blizzard is banned there? all the players for overwatch, hearthstone, wow etc will not be allowed to play at all, yes Blizzard will lose money, but tons of players who did nothing wrong would be stripped for nothing. Think about this before you say things you do not understand, Blizzard banned=players banned from playing.

Did blizzard do it so they would not lose money? Of course! they are a business, if you are a business and you lose money, that is a bad thing, did they also save a lot of players from possibly never being allowed to play again? yes! I would rather have a 12 month ban than a permanent one because of the government, blame them not Blizzard.

getting the chinese market out of blizzard games would do nothing but improve the games we get.

they're the ones that eat up all the microtransaction and phone game shit.

lets be honest, this is actually something that seems to of come from acti/bliz(the holding company) or the Chinese-government owned management company the game is licencee out to, then blizzard(the development company) with as many devs who've come out against the enforcement's actions.

    1. It's more than a few hundred million
    2. Standing up to china does nothing except make blizzard need to do much larger mass layoffs as they lose an absolute metric ton of money
    3. The company may not even survive the fallout, so literally all blizz employees/families could eventually lose their job

Do any of you, who prob all went "waaaaaaah" when they did layoffs, consider the fallout to the companies employees/livelihoods/families?

    No?

Didn't think so. Talk is cheap, when it's YOUR paycheck on the line, come back and say something.

We don't need another thread about this when the first one is still alive and kicking.

    Closing this.
