The names of the past expansions have always revolved around one of the three topics (sometimes two at once): an event, a place, or a baddie. Of that three, places were used only when there was no big unifying event or a clear baddie for that expansion (Mists of Pandaria, Warlords of Dreanor). As for a death-themed expansion there is a clear overarching motif of death (or a potential baddie - Death itself). It's hard to say if there will be some big "event" ongoing through the expansion where the forces of Death intend to kill everyone (in which case a name like "the Harvest of Souls" would be fitting), however with W3:Reforged coming out soon, I assume they will try to cash in on the nostalgia with:
"World of Warcraft: Reign of Death"

If we follow the pattern, the title will likely refer to the unknown inciting event of the expansion. Furthermore, it is more likely to be a three word phrase than a single word.
