RECENT INSTANCE. We don't know what happens in 9.0 or the prepatch. For all we know Ner'zhul could be alive or his eyes turn blue when he uses his awesome undead commanding powers or Amanthul knocks two realities together and what we get is an arthas bolvar hybrid.
"But hes dead Nerzhul is dead! How could he control Bolvar?" Dead like Kael'thas, Illidan, The warlords of Draenor, Sargeras, Xavius?

I cannot disagree with any of your arguments, however I can say that it is simply aesthetically wrong to have his eyes giving a blue glow when the entire rest of him gives an orange glow. Characters have been made to look different for less (look at outland vs draenor fel orcs)

If we went the whole "Ner'zhul/Arthas took over the Bolvar" route, I'd expect his entire body's flames to turn blue if anything. That'd be more impactful and look cooler imo.

Look up pictures of the First Warden character in Lords of the Fallen. The Lich King in that picture looks like a shopped version of that character. And Blizzard doesn't do "placeholders" for merchandise. Placeholders are used for software, not merch.

While I doubt this is real, it's not the first warden's chest even if they have similar aesthetics. That's straight up big burly human chest with fire split down the middle while the first warden has a twisted inhuman look to it. Zoom in on the picture and pull up a picture yourself, or use waifu2x to enlarge it if you wish.

It would be easier to take a normal dude's chest and change it. First Warden's chest is not as human as a body builder like Bolvar there.

As someone mentioned, Bolvar should have orange eyes, unless it is not Bolvar. What if Ner'zhul regained his control?
