Civ 6 maps : is this me, or there are way, way, way too many mountains ?

I love Civilization and fin VI one of the most enjoyable, when the gears start running.

This is as you might guess a very conditional statement : I have to, ahem, ''hit the new game button'' a couple of times to get a decent start (including a couple of couple of couple times ). Is this me or there are lots of mountains in CIV 6 ?

(Imagine trying to get a decent start as Canada…)

i know the feeling
old world setting helps a bit
but not enough really

+ i use mods for bigger maps and stil end up restarting multiple times because i spawn right next to a ai or spawned in the middle of mountainrange
