No thanks, I would prefer TBC. It's better in almost every way.

Just admit Classic is terrible and not as good as you remembered.
Why am I not surprised that a decent chunk of the discussion of Classic+ is centred around adding High Elves to the alliance LOL. You guys are deranged at this point. You will cling to anything to play Aryan elves but REFUSE to play horde lol.
Thanks for the update. For the record, I haven't played Runescape since I was in high school back in 2001 so I guess I shouldn't be surprised it's changed in two decades. Whoops! That totally demolishes the argument that WoW appeals to an entirely different demographic. Oh wait, it doesn't?
Shit.

There's always this:
The only ppl I can imagine wanting classic+ are people who play retail right now.
Just think about it. What makes anyone trust current Blizzard with expanding upon classic unless they really enjoy BFA and Shadowlands? If Blizzard was a competent, trustworthy company we wouldn't be having classic wow in the first place. Instead we would have an actually playable and good experience in retail WoW. Which we don't.
TBC is the only way to go, and wotlk after that. And then, it's time to shut it all down and move on from WoW.
So according to you, the almighty knower of everyone's opinions and doesn't even bother to do any research, it can't be a thing because you don't want it too. Got it. Posts like this make me laugh, just type HE and see how many people get triggered by it. Spew your hate and your all knowing knowledge over on the HE, whoops, h..e..forum.

Premature. Come back in 12-18 months. They'll either have to do classic+ with new content (like RSC) or TBC servers.
I take it you know Highelf on a personal basis, because you seem to know exactly what they've been personally asking for.
Oh wait, you're just another of those clowns who comes here and blanket states 'You'. I see it all the time. "You asked for no changes. You asked for Classic, etc" when in reality different people asked for different things, or not at all.
