Don't keep up with vr but I have seen thing recently they are ramping stuff up guess this is to help sell headsets.
VR really needs some more improvements before it can go mainstream mainstream. The head pieces are bulky and uncomfortable, especially of you wear glasses, and it gives a lot of people motion sickness.
Hopefully in our lifetimes we can get full immersion vr and it'll actually be comfortable lol

It just looks like a dodge to me in order to avoid making half life 3.
It'll probably be rad, but I still have zero interest in VR, especially the $1K kit Valve is selling.
Glad they're actually making a game again, at least, even if it's a game nobody seemed to be asking for.
VR set is too expensive for what it gives. Sure I'm interested in the experience, but there arent enough games to justify their price. :/
Big NOPE from me. VR gives me motion sickness. Oh well, maybe it'll peak enough interests to get a normal game made.
For those keeping up with Valve news, leaks have hinted at the existence of a Half-Life VR game focused around Alyx for a very long time at this point, so I've been waiting for them to announce this for a while now.
That said, I don't actually own a VR headset, and I'd need a better GPU if I wanted to properly enjoy any VR games, so regardless of Half-Life being one of my all time favourite game franchises, I just can't really get excited for this.

As long as it works with the Rift too and not just Valve gear I'm all for it. VR needs a good and big game
They are really allergic to the number 3, huh?
