    I already quit because Blitzchung.

If Blizzard were still in good standing, it would depend on what changes. I'd be fine with minor QoL changes or with a Paladin buff. I would quit if we got Dungeon Finder, Guild Levelling, LFR, or all the shit that's turned modern WoW into a Fisher Price My First MMORPG.

while some of these changes sound good at 1st... it's a slippery slope... what is a "good change" and where do we draw the line... what I might think is acceptable (transmog for instance personally) is probably an abomination to other people who enjoy classic!

So I rather have #nochanges to keep it "pure" rather than go down a slippery slope and it becomes an amalgamation no-one ever wanted.

WoW Classic launched with changes. It's been different since day one. People who were actually there for vanilla noticed, but the rest of you are busy slurping it up and convincing yourself you're playing the genuine article.

i think it would not be right to change current "no changes" servers.
(even though they have made some changes. lol)

but i would gladly welcome new classic+ servers.
    new stuff is always nice.
and if its bad.. i dont ahve to play it.

    It already has been.

    nochanges has already been violated.
What matters is, to what extent it's being violated.
"your" changes are shit, and would never happen.

Says the guy who didn't even bother read the thread. So I'll do it for you...

The thread isn't advocating changes. It's asking a hypothetical question as to how you'd respond if they violated NoChanges.

Next time try to actually read before jumping the gun, okay?

Whatever they do, I will play WoW until the day I die.

If the hybrid tax gets taken away then why are mages and warlocks dealing with fire immune bosses in MC and BWL?
If respec costs get lowered why don't we just have dual spec?

Everyone has a different idea of what is "needed" to "fix" classic. Just leave it as is and let people who want all the QOL changes play retail.
This pretty much sums it up for me. Classic was created because there is a high demand for it - it's ludicrous to give those players what they asked for then change it because other people want something different. I have no issue with them creating a classic+, but it needs to be on it's own server that people start new characters on.

    Depends entirely on the changes.

    AOE Looting - Fine with

    LFD - No
    LFBG - No

Overall I enjoy classic gameplay more than BFA so it would take a lot of changes for me to simply stop.

Depends on what it is of course. Minor things, probably not. That said, I'm in favor of leaving the game as it is. Plenty of changes could be made that wouldn't push Classic even a little bit toward retail that go against the spirit of what Classic is supposed to be. So, for the most part, if they find stuff that is seriously divergent from how WoW was in 1.12 they should fix that but otherwise leave it alone.

All of these threads about minor this and thats to change the game only confirms Brack's original analysis.

If it goes against the spirit of classic yes.

Examples: Class changes, profession changes, any change that affects the economy (respec costs!), transmog, any kind of carebear changes.

If you want a game that babysits you, doesn't demand much if anything from you and where you can't lose then I have only one thing to say to you: Go. Back. To. Retail.

Classic is all about doing things. Not being handed things. You wanna be competitive at pvp? Better go farm those consumables and have engineering and go tons of pvp. You wanna top the meters in raids? Go farm those flasks and elixirs. You wanna have gold to afford anything at all? Go farm it.

Everything matters, everything is coherent and relevant. Crybabies and carebears are given the middlefinger. I'm not saying the game is necessarily 'harder' (as in how difficult encounters are) then Retail, but the game is more demanding in general. And it certainly doesn't take you by the hand and deliver you anything on a silver plater. The game was well thought out and designed by the very best. Modern day Blizzard devs can't hope to compete.

If youre so petty and quit over such things then your server is better off without you.

The only thing that wouldn't bother me is transmog.

Not a big deal to me, but I'm a BC fanboy so paladins not being able to taunt isn't sacred to me or whatever.

Nope. If prot pally becomes more viable, I'd play more of him.

classic "+" is just not a thing and will never be a thing

Because everyone want a different "+". Blizzard can't make everyone happy, no matter where they draw the line. So why even push the line in the first place ?

Hypothetical, of course. I'm not endorsing or rejecting anything.

(Edit: "I would be consider quitting" is, ahem, a cultural thing, you uncouth swines!)
I don't care, honestly. I'm just stuck at, "why ask for it if you don't want it?".

Nope. I can imagine a few changes with classic I wouldn't mind at all.
