No changes was retarded in the first place. TBC or any other variation of "Classic+" had and would have tons of changes from Classic while not changing the gameplay or the experience at all.
TBC still had pretty much identical gameplay and design decisions to Classic. It was WotLK that changed retail into what it is now.
They're (short for They are) describes a group of people. "They're/They are a nice bunch of guys." Their indicates that something belongs/is related to a group of people. "Their car was all out of fuel." There refers to a location. "Let's set up camp over there." There is also no such thing as "could/should OF". The correct way is: Could/should'VE, or could/should HAVE.

Not me. I’m actually of the opinion Blizzard should try expanding Classic though. After naxx comes out, why not make another dungeon for us? Why not continue the game but in a different direction? I wouldnt mind TBC or WoTLK either, but i would quit at Cataclysm
IDK what you think you're playing but there are a lotta changes already...
XP being the biggest direct one. RIP mob tagging
The terrible spell batching system that isn't even an attempt at proper emulation of how it worked.....It's a poor emulation as soon as they decide they wanted to port it to the legion/retail client it was never going to be truly no changes.
I don't mind the game as it is now because forcing no changes did get the game as close to vanilla representation as we could get without blizz purposefully trying to screw it up and make into something it wasn't.
would i quit if they changed some things? No.
what I want is vanilla with tbc changes that actually made a the diff specs viable (maybe even have dual spec) but I know that won't happen precisely because of the super anal no changes crowd. I also love transmog personally and would love to see that in the game too but I know that also won't happen. Not every change from retail was bad, some absolutely where but not every single one
We cannot go back. That's why it's hard to choose. You have to make the right choice. As long as you don't choose, everything remains possible.
No, but then I've never really been on the "no changes" side. I'm all for anything that can make the game more fun without harming the experience. As long as we still have the same quests, NPC's, locations, and items, I don't really have a problem with something like improved graphics.
Now, if we start things like giving warriors heroic leap, adding death knights, etc, I'd have a problem with it. That's Classic+, not Classic. But there are some changes that could be made to Classic without harming the experience or making it Classic+.
That all said, I doubt Blizzard will be doing anything to Classic, other than fixing game-breaking bugs/exploits as they're discovered. Or making slight tweaks/corrections to make the game more like it was originally (like the recent combat log range adjustment).

Respec cost should be raised if anything because the inflation is already much stronger in classic than during vanilla.
3 months of classic and 50g is already nothing.
I don't think the changes you proposed are good at all. While I would want some well thought out changes, the ones you suggest show that most people don't understand the consequences of those changes.
* Paladins were given a taunt. - Why do they need taunt? In 5-10 man dungeons, they tank just fine and excel on AoE tanking. The only "problem" prot has in the entire game is getting into 40 man raids. I see several better solutions for that issue.
* Mana issues were "fixed" to lessen the "hybrid" tax. - So you want Elemental shamans to have more mana than today just to make them more viable in raids? You do realize the only thing stopping Elemental from being completely overpowered in PvP is their mana pool? How do you intend to fix the obvious "Ele is OP" issue for PvP then?
* Respec costs were lowered. - No. I like that you are a spec forever. You are a Holy Paladin. If you absolutely want to keep switching specs, it should hurt. Lowering respec costs would cause the same issue Dual Spec caused. You now get forced by guilds to have variations of your spec depending on what fits that boss fight best. A person that just loves doing world PvP all day should get to have an advantage over the "I will raid in 4 hours, but I should do some World PvP while waiting" person in a raiding spec that now don't want to respec for that little timeframe.
I would however like deserter debuff for dodging BGs for instance.
I also would also like them to look at the huge difference in racial balance for PvP (Orc 25% stun resist and UD WotF vs NE 1% dodge).
Bottom line is though, I don't trust them. They could give us a "potential patch list" and give the community (restrict to people playing classic for 200+ hours?) voting power if that should be implemented in the game.
Theres already plenty changed so quitting over it now would be silly no?
If these changes get added, then all changes should be added. I want to have 100 yard range on my hunter and wear plate and have focus and stampede and be able to fly and stings/traps/arcane shot scale with AP and not need a quiver or ammo and be able to trap in combat without fding and cast aimed shot on the move. These changes are just as valid as any other changes
If Blizzard wants to re-imagine original WoW with some changes, I'd be all for it. Call it WoW Remastered. Put more dev time into Kalimdor, flesh out the class design a bit, update all the graphics, etc etc. Great! I'd probably play it.
But WoW Classic should remain WoW Classic. #NoChanges
If you are particularly bold, you could use a Shiny Ditto. Do keep in mind though, this will infuriate your opponents due to Ditto's beauty. Please do not use Shiny Ditto. You have been warned.
If the core gameplay and design ethos is intact, the quests are still there, the dungeons are still there, and all that jazz, sure, whatever. If it happens, cool. If it doesn't happen, cool.
edit: As a side note, the respec cost only really hurts while leveling. A few hours of dedicated farming in Silithus or somewhere with high mob density like Sorrow Hill will easily net you over 50g in vendor trash, cash, mats, and auctionable gear.

Be seeing you guys on Bloodsail Buccaneers NA!
It has already been violated
-Servers hold so many more players than they used to
-1.12 talents in MC, so everything is easier.
-Layering, allowing people to insanely lvl/farm mats
etc
- Why the hell people keep thinking that classes should be as good as others to do the same role? No paladin should not get a fuckin taunt. You can't have both AOE threat and single target taunt.
- If you "fix" mana issues, you will have spriest and ele shaman wrecking havoc in PVP. You have no clue how big of an impact it would have in a 10v10 if spriest could spam that dot that deals 1500 damage to each target. They will burst you down and on top of it have a lot of mana left to heal themselves.
- Respec costs lowered means that people with overpowered pve gear could afford respeccing into meta pvp spec every week. Right now we are lucky these guys with the strongest gear arent specced for PVP. This combination would wreck havoc in the wpvp. Can you imagine if all these Subtility rogues had good PVE gear? Are you out of your mind? Right now very few of them can afford this cost and are serial killers. It should remain that way.
Such a pointless thread. Classic wont be changed, certainly not in the way you're suggesting.
TBH once naxx is out then idc if they do stuff like that. But if they did it tomorrow I'd be upset, but honestly I'd still keep playing.
However Blizz won't do it, because they won't get anything out of it. They should and will have their focus on making the current version better rather than to appeal to a version of the game that is meant to be as close as to the original as possible. If anything we'll see TBC classic in the near future and not a bastartised version of vanilla.
