Leveling doesn't take long, the story for the most part is good not to mention a good way to earn easy gold & items for transmog.

Well sucks to be them. But why should like 99.9% of the people that aren't them care?

Ah yes the famous 'target furries' strategy of f2p games.

Buying a game like Witcher 3 makes me feel like I am robbing them instead, which is actually a weird feeling. The game is about as expensive as most AAA games and has so much fun and engaging content, you can easily sink in 100+ hours while most games don't last longer than 8 hours. There are no microtransactions or anything, just very solid expansions.

As for WoW i'm strongly opposed of them using all of these practices. The store has no place in the game, and IMO its only been hurtful. It feels like all the best artists are fulltime on just designing everything on the store, and its obvious that every item has far more quality than nearly everything you can earn in-game. Having unique items in the store also loses its prestige since so many people will have them without having done any effort for it. The level boosts are also hurtful, I fully blame them for Blizzard not even bothering to revamp the old zones again.
Get a better job then; stop blaming the gaming companies.

They have had the same prices forever, they have never raised their prices, while you should have got a raise and so forth in your life.

Why should they be punished because you can’t afford it.

I’m all for them doing what they are doing to increase their profits, they need to make their stock holders happy...

Sorry not sorry you can’t afford shit IRL.

Rent, utilities, insurance, food, and a million other things have gone up, but not the price of games, stop being a poor broke shit.

I mean yeah sure it allows Activi$$ion Bill$$ard to rake in more money but it damages the integrity of the game. You'd expect to see crap like this in games like League of Legends and all of those billions of mobile "clash of clashes" clones. Not a monthly-sub based game like WoW.

Listen up, Kotick. If you want to suck $$$ out of your hapless victims then by all means do so but do it in a separate mobile game that is clearly designed to bleed the whales dry. Leave WoW alone and let us have our fantasy RPG.
You are probably going to be offended when it is pointed out that it isn't YOUR game.. its Blizzard's

I am not ashamed to say that i sometimes buy a token. I don't have the time to farm anymore like earlier when i was studying. RL is more important at this point in my life.
I buy my raiding supplies and Bonus Rolls from it. If it is gone i buy another. Usually last for about 3-4 months.

I rather spend my time going Mythic+ or Mythic raiding than running around in circles waiting for anchorweed to spawn.

I would never buy i store mount... never... i would not use it because it would not have achieved anything. Same with cosmetics. If they ever put a race in the shop... idk... i really don't think they will put i can't say that i would not be tempted.
Money for Mats for raiding is another thing for me. Farming is not an achievement for me. Raiding is. And all the money in WOW will not make you a good player.
Never bought a boost. The ones coming with the addons i always used to make another druid on another server in case i want to switch to another friends guild in the future.

It’s gotten pretty bad, the same topics are being recycled a lot more lately.

It’s down right boring coming here now.

That 'company of geeks' sold themselves in 1994. You might want to brush up on your Blizzard history before you continue squealing about history and the 'original team'

None of my friends ever bothered to pay for a character boost, neither did i. If i'd wanted to level some character i'd just create one and level through. And if i'd ever need an instant boost - having an option to just buy it is a nice thing.

Why not? when you have fans like blizzards, most of which will happily justify damn near every decision you make. It's free money to them.

Why would you ever need a character boost?

Because I like money and to spend it on things? Why pay for the price of a AAA game title when I can do it myself and buy the game? Or order myself a couple pizzas to periodically eat while I level said character?

Other than being faster what does it do? It doesn't affect you...doesn't affect me...

This quote goes towards showing you did not make a topic to discuss “scummy tactics” but rather to troll people.
That stated, are you also posting about every other game that has microtransactions or paid content, such as CoD, Resident Evil, Legend of Zelda, Fallout, or any number of games that has cosmetic packages or First Day editions?
All of your topics are also cosmetic items (minus Vulpera which are in game and not cash shop) and have no bearing on playing the game. If people want to spend their money, it’s their decision and has no bearing on power levels.
