The creators of this movie have stated that unlike the original movie this one will have a definitive winner between the two in their fight. That being said it isn't impossible that one gets fully defeated by the other and not killed only for the defeated to come to the rescue toward the end of the movie against some other big bad.

Lots of Godzilla movies say otherwise:
    Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla
    Godzilla vs Megalon
    King Kong vs Godzilla
Godzilla vs the Thing(Godzilla vs Mothra in Japan)
Godzilla vs the Smog Monster(Godzilla vs Hedorah in Japan)
    Godzilla vs Destroyah

    And quite a few others...

Honestly didn't have Godzilla movies in mind when I said that, but you are right.

Looks like Kong will forge a melee weapon (if this toy is any indication)..well, he is smarter than other kaijus..he used two veapons against the skullcrawler, a big tree as melee weapon and a boat engine..

Appreciate your time with friends and family while they're here. Don't wait until they're gone to tell them what they mean to you.

Some speculate that the melee weapon's spikes were taken from Godzilla's back, which makes it even more awesome if that'll turn out to be true

Don't we ALL love a BIG Kong?

If they stay true to the original, then kong ends up winning in the end. Battle in the water, it shows Kong swimming back to his island. With no sign of Godzilla.

They gonna team up VS the actual evils. Just like batman and superman, it's a fake versus.

That would be about as fun as biting an apple and finding half a worm.

He could fight dirty. Throw dirt in Godzilla's eyes. Knee Godzilla in the groin while begging for mercy. And bite the tip of his tail while he's not looking.

I don't know how could Kong win this. Godzilla is straight up firing cancer laser beams out of his mouth and Kong is just a big ape...

  17. #37
Probably end up with the two teaming up against some other threats.
Do you hear the voices too?

The film could be getting delayed again.

Yesterday, AT&T CFO John Stephens commented on the company's upcoming film slate during an investor conference. He stated "I am not certain where those are going to go," suggesting possible "further delays in some of the titles."

The reason why there may be new theatrical delays for Warner Bros. is because of WarnerMedia's recent company reorganization initiative, which has included massive layoffs over the past several days.

While these possible new delays may only affect other Warner Bros. films like Wonder Woman 1984 and Dune, there is a chance that Godzilla vs. Kong could also have its release date shifted.

I mean, this is not confirmation of another delay. But my heart cannot take much more of this kind of news.

Destruction Comes Early: Godzilla vs. Kong Will Debut on HBO Max in March.

    https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood...x-in-march/amp
    JORDAN HOFFMAN JANUARY 16, 2021 12:28 PM

Since Warner Bros. has already made the unusual decision to release its 2021 calendar direct to HBO Max concurrent with its muted theatrical window, why not get things going earlier? As such, Godzilla vs. Kong, the clobbering monster mash originally set for November 2020, and then pushed to May 2021, has been yanked back to a much more just-round-the-corner March 26.

This announcement comes just days after an agreement was made between Warner Bros., distributor, and Legendary, financier of 75 percent of the picture. The two companies were at odds after the surprise decision to release films "day and date" on HBO Max, especially since Netflix had made a $225 million bid for the new monster movie.
