Lightbulb How to beat this 3v3 comp. (SP/Shaman+Destro+Heal) as (DK+DH+Heal)

    Hello guys,

We struggle a lot VS that popular comp (at least at this MMR). We tried everything, but focusing the destro is the worst we can do unless the destro is undergear, we quite when burst window and we cut most of the chaos, but in damage trade we lose.

Trying to kill the other DPS is almost a 100% lose match because they only play at open terrain and the destro just burst us down.

Most success strategy is to try to kill heal when burst window is gone and hope we can position the enemy heal behind a pilar with DK grab + stun chain losing vision from the destro.

We are open to learn, maybe someone is/was struggling like us and can give some advice, or is just a hard counter and pretty impossible to win with our comp (that could be really sad bc 3/5 matches is vs this).

What kind of rating are you talking about?

I think the key is to respect the lock's cooldowns. Just sit your ass behind the pillar until that infernal is gone, then he's wet noodle status. As DK/DH against that comp you're going long game, and will need to have your DH harass the hell out of their healer with mana burn and fel eruption.

You have the right idea- killing the healer or swapping after life swap. Also running this comp with a holy paladin is much more effective than rdruid.

Take advantage of however you can best exploit the enemy healer. If it's a priest- they can't handle split pressure (which your comp does marvelously). If a druid, they can't handle you riding them down.... etc.

Okay, that sounds good, we are going to try this evening and check results. Thank you.

I would say for dh to go heals and dk on lock. If you have a pally healer, they can be specced to do respectable damage with one of you. Once healer is low then the dk can swap.

If you're looking for arena strategy you're in the wrong forum. I'd look into some arena discord servers. Also, you can check out VODS from Cdew / Mes / Trill, as they've ran this comp plenty and probably have some games on youtube/twitch of these matchups.

Normally, your comp should just sit on the Destro while the DH goes over to the Enemy healer and throws Stun+Mana Rift under him, then simply drag the game out as the enemy Healer will be oom within minutes.

Also, using Tank trinkets is a massive boon here, because you'll be winning the mana game anyway, so no harm in having additional defense.

Play defensive, sit the healer and make the dh use mana rift on cd till he's taped of mana, always make sure to los the lock/shammy/sp and should be gg
Even then its luck based, that comp is called ebola for a reason
