Only one Alliance guild in the top 20... that's sad.

    Stupid or what..?

Clearly when racials matter players transfered. Why on earth would people transfer back later when there is a bigger pool of players on horde instead of alliance.

Except the horde always had a bigger pool of players.

Who cares, they are first place and ahead by two bosses at that.

That said, we all know how this will end, so what does it matter anyways? Following these races is incredibly boring when you know that Method is going to get world first in the end.

World First raiding isn't really so much about significant skill over other players, but incredible gearing strategies that often come down to millions of gold and insane amounts of work (and playtime). Method wins because they can do this. No matter how well you play, in the end you are going to be held back by your gear more than anything else.

If anyone thinks Horde had a bigger playerbase than Alliance they obviously weren't been playing in vanilla... or even TBC or WotLK. Basically when people say things like that, you can just assume they make crap up on a whim about everything. Don't waste your time arguing. They either know they are wrong and don't care, or they are too ignorant/lazy to look up the facts and obviously never experienced the content themselves.

Yeah, even back in Wrath, in my realm it was always evident The Alliance had a much bigger player population than Horde. Wintergrasp made it painfully evident, but how is exactly Method going to win being two bosses behind Complexity Limit? Is Complexity Limit known to be chokers? Are they going to start fucking up and Method will down five bosses before they down three?

Who even cares about "world firsts"? Is this really a thing still? It's the same freaking guild every single time, the same people, same exact thing every stupid raid they come up with... I can't grasp it. Do people really grab a bag of popcorn and cheer? Damn.. I must be getting too old for this shit.

The real competition usually starts on the last boss (rarely on the second to last).

Actually it all comes down to where an artificial wall is such as EP where Azshara was unkillable and blizzard had to nerf it. If say Nzoth phase 3 is impossible eventually you could have 2-3 guilds sitting on it till its corrected then comes down to the time they correct it that is more beneficial to x guild

Because complexity limit got a day head start and in the past few days Method have gone from 7 bosses behind to 1. They always catch up and overtake limit around the second to last boss.

To be honest now that I think about it, I think it was when faction transfers were added that Horde started to truly become popular and start rising above Alliance, or at least giving them a run for their money.

As for the race, Method will win. They always win. Being ahead early on doesn't matter because it's the final boss that always holds players back. For instance in Dazor'alor, the race had method behind for a long time (and EU realms are like, 12 hours behind the US realms on launches) but even with the other guild transferring to Alliance for quick upgrades, Method won by a large margin in the end. Over a day IIRC.

Method has the money (ingame and otherwise) to afford going well beyond what is sane to get tiny upgrades. For that same above raid, they bought out all of the resources on their servers' auction house to abuse profession mechanics for minor upgrades, and bought out a few more servers' materials (IIRC) and transferred the resources back. They will win, hands down, just like they always do. Method isn't out to get world first on the lesser bosses, they are out to get world first on the raid.
